Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 4th.

[ Ange came to morning training in a much, much better mood than usually. No really, even though she still has her usual lineface - more or less - there are hints of something more in it right now. Hints of something content. As if, despite everything going on in the city, something good happened to her.

She's even working a little harder than usually, but eventually she does take a break. Ange looks a lot more approachable, so if you want you can talk to her while she's sitting off to the side to regain some energy. ]

[Akiha hadn't participated in training that morning and she looked like she'd been up all night long. For whatever reason, she'd come down to watch.

When Ange takes her break, the other meister brings her a glass of water.]

What happened? Something is different about you.

.. Thanks, Tohno-san. [ She almost looks a little surprised at the more or less kind gesture, taking the water so she can take a sip from it. She's probably noticed the way Akiha looks too, but she's refraining from mentioning it just yet.

Then again, with what she's saying, she can definitely use a distraction from the topic. Not like she can tell Akiha of all people this. ]

I could say the same about you. Had a busy night?

Not particularly. I have an overnight mission tonight, so I needed to stay up last night so I'll be properly alert for it.

[She's not fooled, Ange.] So, what happened to you?

[entreats]

[ Darnit, Akiha. Stop being so sharp. ]

Nothing, really. [ HOPING SO BADLY THAT IT'S BELIEVABLE.. ] Why are you asking?

Because you're acting differently. Like you might actually be happy somewhere under that apathetic demeanor.

Don't say it like that. [ Although that's.. exactly the truth, basically.. ]

What would I even be particularly happy over?

[ritsu_kouyou]

That's what I'm asking. Stop avoiding the question, Ushiromiya.

[entreats]

I'm not avoiding any-- [ .. okay, even Ange has to stop there and realise by herself how dumb that sounded. But it's not like she can just say it, right? Ugh, she's going to seem like an idiot no matter what at this rate. ]

I mean, maybe I'm just in a good mood. I don't know either.

[ritsu_kouyou]

[This is Akiha looking like she doesn't believe Ange. Because she doesn't.]

Riiight.

[ Gosh, stop making her embarassed, Akiha!! ] Then why don't you guess what exactly is up yourself, miss detective?

[ritsu_kouyou]

If I knew the answer, I wouldn't bother asking you about it.

Is me being in a good mood seriously that interesting to you? [ At least she doesn't say 'surprising', even Ange herself realises how gloomy she usually is.. ]

[Steve recognizes the young woman from their last conversation, noticing that she seems a little more content this time around. He walks up to her, but still gives plenty of space between them.]

Good morning, Miss Ushiromiya. How's your training progressing?

[entreats]

Ah.. good morning. [ She blinks. If anything, she looks a little surprised that this guy actually came to talk to her again - she's still not too used to people actually being friendly, but she regains her bearings soon enough. ]

I guess it's going okay. I don't think I'll ever catch up with some people though.

[itsfondue]

You still continue to try though. Think that's just as important. [He won't comment about how she looks happier, it seems a little rude to say. At least to him.]

[entreats]

[ Geez, he almost sounds like Yuri, doesn't he? Except without the horrible teasing. ]

Well, I can't exactly give up. That's like losing right away in this case, and I'm definitely not just going to let people make fun of me however much they want.

[itsfondue]

Have to agree with you on that.

[But he frowns a little at her last comment.]

People have been bullying you?

[ .. The briefest moment before she answers-- ] Not really. .. Well, not here, that is. Unless you count teasing me relentlessly as bullying.

Depends if the teasing is unwanted.

[ .. Yup, that's exactly is, since Ange doesn't mind the teasing and part of her deep down might actually like it, but.. way too tsundere to admit this. ]

W-who would want to be teased?

[itsfondue]

Light teasing between friends usually doesn't hurt. Can be a sign of a strong friendship. [Like him and Bucky, but that's a depressing topic really.]

[ Yes, let's not bring up poor Bucky.. ]

It's one thing if regular friends do it to each other, but when it's guy and a girl it's just.. different.

[itsfondue]

Oh, I guess it would be. [He hasn't had much experience with that.] I think so, at least. Or it just varies. [Smooth, Rogers.]

.. Yeah, I can't say it 100% for sure either. [ She's mostly admitting it since she's in that good mood.. ]

I haven't exactly been around guys a lot during my life, so sometimes I wonder if they're all just like that.
