Morning Training Log!

Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 4th.

[This was it. This is where Asura had to find if he was a meister or a weapon. Either one didn't matter to him, so as long as he'd at least be able to know to help out in the war.]

Uh, hey! Anyone here?

[And here's a witch who works as the park's gardener wandering by with a garden hose. She stops when she hears the very muscular, somewhat scary-looking man calling out and says in a Texas-accented voice...]

...Um, are you looking for someone?

[OOC: Hi! Thought I'd jump in since we're short on characters with actual Soul Perception and no one has replied so far. Lily's ability allows her to sense soul wavelength on clothes and is kind of like Soul Perception and works best on clothes that have been worn a lot. Unfortunately, she's trying to hide that she's a witch and is a bit paranoid about admitting she has any kind of powers so it tends to be difficult to get a straight answer out of her IC. It might take her tripping into Asura, brushing against his clothes, and a slip of the tongue after she realizes which he is. Yep, the most awkward way ever to do Soul Perception. XD]

Ah- [He turns towards her.] Yeah. Heard there were people that could figure out if one was a Meister or Weapon, so I need to know which one I am.

((OOC: No problem! And, he's been wearing the same pants since like for the entirety of his canon and his arrival to Death City, so it's perfectly fine. :D))

I take it you're a new person. But didn't they tell you during that tour around the city? [Weird. It hadn't been that long ago that she found that grumpy white-haired guy in the pointy black armor wanting to know the same thing. Maybe, all their machines broke down?]

[Being a bit of a technophobe and never really bothering to read the network, Lily was uninformed about how erratic BREW had become.]

What, the X-Rays? No, they told me. I just don't know how to work them.

[And this is coming from someone who's not too tech-oriented himself. Or well, simple ones he can get, but anything above that goes way over his head.]

[Admittedly, the guy looked like he'd be better at punching stuff than operating complicated machinery but...]

Huh. That's strange. They didn't have anyone around to run the machine for you? [Had budget problems at the school caused them to get rid of the x-ray folks?]

Oh, I guess I should've asked, huh?

Um, yes, that might have helped. [Lily wondered a bit if he was what folks back in Texas referred to as 'dumber than a box of hammers.' Of course, she kept this thought to herself since she didn't want to find out firsthand how good he was at punching things.]

Well, if you go back to the school, I'm— [She turned to look towards the school and that was when she tripped over her garden hose.] Aaaah! [She grabbed for the nearest thing in an attempt keep herself from falling over, which happened to be the piece of yellow material hanging from Asura's pants. Obviously, it wasn't enough to hold her up and she ended up sprawled on the ground, fingers still on to the fabric.]

Woah, hey! [He immediately extends a hand to her.] Are you okay?!

[Lily cringed a bit at the vengeful, wrathful sensations she felt from the fabric. Was he dangerous? Come to think of it, in terms of build, he did remind her of Winters and that guy had bragged about how he was an expert at killing.]

Um, I'm okay... [She's still hanging on to his pants, trying to get a better reading.]

[Asura glances over her for bit, checking to see if there were any scratches or anything else. All this complete with a genuine look of concern on his face- it seemed to be a complete opposite from what resonated from his clothes.]

Okay, good. I don't need to ask a nurse, at least.

Yes, I'm sure. [Lily sat up, still a little nervous although he actually looked worried. She also got the sense he was the protective type, which seemed a bit at odds with those wrathful, vengeful feelings.]

...Anyway, I reckon you could go back to the school and find someone to tell you that you're a Meister. [Oops... Maybe, he won't notice...]
