Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on Monday, August 30th.

Yes. [Even here in Death City, where he's murdered innocents and turned on those he loved]

The difficult thing is knowing their anger is justified and standing there, tempted to take all of it because you think you deserve it. But that's a destructive path. All we can do is apologize, and perhaps try to make it up to them in some fashion in the future, just so you know you've tried to make amends, even if they don't appreciate it then.

[Well there's nothing wrong with them at least, and he glances down at her paw at his hand with a huff]

No, I promise I don't want any. Not particularly fond of sweets myself.

[That's true. Doctors don't mean to kill their patients. She certainly didn't mean to, but sometimes, you can't save everyone she guesses. Death is very much a thing.] ... Then... if they ever need treatment, I'll just have to show them I did everything I could by saving them. I can only do so much - I'm still human.

[He smiles faintly, relieved to hear some resolve in her words]

That's all you can do. They may never forgive you, but that's the nature of hatred. Just don't let it keep you from doing what you need to.

[Good with one, she paused to watch Neji stand up. She barked. Wait a second...]

[Her bark stopped him from leaving and he turned back to her with a tip of his head]

Do you need me to wrap them back up for you?

[No no, nothing like that. She's just going to give his hand a lick. Thanks for the gift.]

One day... maybe they will. Still, I'll definitely try not to let it get me down again.

I suppose this would be a nice spot for tea. Would you care to join me? [He smiles as he opens the basket and reaches in, pulling out a blanket to unfurl and spread over the grass.]

But it's a shame I can no longer understand the speech of animals here. [There's a small sigh as he takes a teapot out next and shakes some tea leaves from a tin into it before adding hot water from a thermos.]

[Don't mind if she does! She'll just step back and sit down once the blanket it spread with a grin.]

[He could understand animals? ... BREW you do this to her on purpose. Either way, she pulls out her communicator and its stylus.]

I've heard some folks have been around for a whole year though and I don't really envy them.

And that sounds like a good idea. Have things at least settled down at the clinic? [She assumed they had since Lezard hadn't been in a rush to return after their mission the other day.]

That's a really long time to be away from their friends. Well, I bet they'll be able to go home soon.

Yes. Things are getting better. We'll remove the quarantine from the north wing soon.

You think the war will actually end soon? It doesn't seem like things are much better considering all those clowns lately and that last attack on the city.

[Nodding.] Does that mean the folks still in the clinic will be able to leave before long?

I don't know, but... I wanna try remaining positive again. Remaining as I have for the past few days... it's kinda hard to do anything.

Mhm! They'll be able to leave in a few more days.

[Angeal nods as the other approaches, giving the other an easy smile. He knows how things can be when one considers that this place was technically a warzone, especially after what had recently happened.]

Looks like I came in on the wrong day, hm? [He greets the other man, but does not seem bothered by it. He could always have Genesis help him later, perhaps.]

I'm always looking for a Weapon! [The rest causes a confused blink though.] But what's a chainsaw? [Swords and cannons were more common around the Caribbean so she's never heard of one before.] And even if you're a zombie, you don't do anything too gross, do you?

How wonderful! I've missed being able to communicate with animals. Other than Mr. Keroro, I haven't been able to understand them at all.
