EVENT: The Great BREW Malfunction Pt 1 [OPEN]

Description: ...something strange is going on here.

At some point, something strange begins to happen. People start randomly disappearing. Sometimes they reappear immediately after and they may not even notice, but sometimes there's a noticeable lag between their disappearance and their reappearance.

Sometimes, they don't even reappear in the same place!

At least it doesn't seem to be dangerous. Unless you disappeared from your kitchen and reappeared at the other end of the city. In which case, you might want to start running.

Either everything sort of points at this being BREW related (after all, if it were Witches, there would be a lot more danger).

"Aww come on, you're just grumpy 'cause you're hungry." He waved the leg tantalizingly at her and waggled his brows invitingly. Or creepily. Whatever.

"Don't you ever smile?"

"I'm not hungry." She huffs, "And I smile enough."

The eyebrow waggle definitely lookes creepy to her! Also suspicious.

"I've never seen you smile. I bet you can't even do it." Hamel looks at her critically as though he's trying to decide if that's true or not. He reaches the conclusion that it is.

"I can so smile." Why was he so annoying? She's so glad she in charge of the cafe side of things most days. She wouldn't be able to deal with him every day!

He stares at her for a moment. A little longer than necessary and then finally raises a brow. "Yeah, I don't believe it." And if she wants him out she might have to get more forceful.

"...why am I even arguing about this with you?" She huffs and sets the box she was holding down and plants her hands on her waist. "Go eat in the backroom."

He was almost done with the food at least. He'd stretched it out for a while, tearing off chunks as he'd chatted. He considered it a victory against the stoic little girl. Because Hamel was petty like that. Even with little girls.

"It's gloomy back there." he stalled a little longer because Hamel really doesn't care about gloomy. His whole world is gloomy. Mostly he's enjoying how much he's annoying her.

"It is not gloomy." It doesn't occur to her that she might be being baited. As mature as she may be, she is still just a kid in some respects. "And stop taling with your mouth full. It's disgusting."

"Yes it is, there's no windows." Even if there is he's going to say there isn't. "It makes it gloomy. You can't drink in the dark. That's not how it works. You wouldn't know because you're like twelve. But when you get older you'll understand." He looks at her all superior. Even if it's all complete bullshit.

"I'm thirteen." And if Eve were the kind of person to speak with italics it would have been on the 'thirteen'. This is a sore point for her.

She's also not addressing the rest of his points because she thinks they're irrelevant.

"Close enough." He waves that dismissive hand. Obviously she can't understand still being a kid and shit.
