EVENT: The Great BREW Malfunction Pt 1 [OPEN]

Description: ...something strange is going on here.

At some point, something strange begins to happen. People start randomly disappearing. Sometimes they reappear immediately after and they may not even notice, but sometimes there's a noticeable lag between their disappearance and their reappearance.

Sometimes, they don't even reappear in the same place!

At least it doesn't seem to be dangerous. Unless you disappeared from your kitchen and reappeared at the other end of the city. In which case, you might want to start running.

Either everything sort of points at this being BREW related (after all, if it were Witches, there would be a lot more danger).

Hamel reappeared in the middle of Keroro's shop with a drumstick that was big enough to have belonged to an ostrich clenched between his teeth and a foot up against a shelf, his hands clamped around a jug of mead as though he'd been fighting someone for it. The change in sound seemed to sink in slowly and he blinked and looked around, cutting off his swearing (which was unintelligible while eating a leg of ostrich) and his shoulders slumped a little. He almost knocked over the shelf but apparently Keroro built them with decent stuff. Instead Hamel plopped down in the middle of the floor and grabbed the bone with his free hand, tore off a chunk of meat and swallowed before sighing. "Fuck. I thought I'd gone back."

Eve was helping restock some shelves when Hamel just randomly appeared to her left. She blinked, but otherwise had no other reaction. This had happened to her and Keroro just earlier so she couldn't say she was too surprise even if she's still not sure what was going on.

She nodded at Hamel.

"Welcome back. If you want to eat, please go to the backroom."

Hamel took a huge gulp of Sake and then burped rudely. Then hiccuped. "Oh hey, it's you." Too bad she was so little. And so sour faced. Not cute at all. Man this was good sake. He took another bite of the food. "Why?" Hamel has no manners Eve, he doesn't get why he needs to go somewhere else. "Is there dessert back there?"

Eve didn't think she was sour-faced. 'Inexpressive', maybe, but she'd take offense to 'sour-faced'.

She looked at him out of the corner of her eye.

"Employees shouldn't eat in the front." Keroro also shouldn't build Gunpla in the front, but he does anyway. Eve has given up on convincing him not to at this point.

Hamel considered anyone who looked so flat lined all the time sour faced. They could argue about it in their own way sometime. She didn't even really get mad. Which he definitely wasn't accustomed to.

"Why not?" He asked, sipping his beer and then belching. For effect.

"It's were I ended up, and I wanna finish." He looked suddenly as though he understood something. "Want some?" He offered the drumstick to her. He was a great guy huh?

The only person who's ever managed to make her mad isn't here anymore. Though if he ever showed up in front of her undressed she'd probably punch him if that counted.

"It's not professional." She sounds a bit like she's quoting something. "It's not your fault you ended up here, but that doesn't mean you need to finish your food here too."

If anything, at the offer her expression just gets flatter.

"No, thank you."

"Aww come on, you're just grumpy 'cause you're hungry." He waved the leg tantalizingly at her and waggled his brows invitingly. Or creepily. Whatever.

"Don't you ever smile?"

"I'm not hungry." She huffs, "And I smile enough."

The eyebrow waggle definitely lookes creepy to her! Also suspicious.

"I've never seen you smile. I bet you can't even do it." Hamel looks at her critically as though he's trying to decide if that's true or not. He reaches the conclusion that it is.

"I can so smile." Why was he so annoying? She's so glad she in charge of the cafe side of things most days. She wouldn't be able to deal with him every day!

He stares at her for a moment. A little longer than necessary and then finally raises a brow. "Yeah, I don't believe it." And if she wants him out she might have to get more forceful.

"...why am I even arguing about this with you?" She huffs and sets the box she was holding down and plants her hands on her waist. "Go eat in the backroom."

He was almost done with the food at least. He'd stretched it out for a while, tearing off chunks as he'd chatted. He considered it a victory against the stoic little girl. Because Hamel was petty like that. Even with little girls.

"It's gloomy back there." he stalled a little longer because Hamel really doesn't care about gloomy. His whole world is gloomy. Mostly he's enjoying how much he's annoying her.

And Keroro rounds the corner with a faint squeak on those extremely clean floors, immediately pointing at Hamel and the drumstick, "You! No outside food in the store, de arimasu!"

Hamel has his back to Keroro when the alien comes around the corner and he only notices him because of the squeak and then the 'yelling'. Which really isn't yelling but Hamel is definitely a man of extremes. He looks over his shoulder at Keroro and blinks, alchohol addled brain working slowly before he hiccups and a bit of grease slides off the drumstick and onto that clean floor. "Outside food?" He tilts his head as he thinks it over. "This is inside food. I got it inside the inn."

He chews, then swallows and then grins. "The cow was outside food."

G-Grease....on his clean floor....

Keroro immediately runs back for a mop and starts scrubbing at the spot, "This isn't an inn, de arimasu!"

"No I came from an Inn." He corrected and chomped down on more, watching Keroro mop frantically. He, on the other hand, looked like he was contemplating a great mystery. "Which is kind of the opposite of outside. It's right there in the name."

"Whether it's an Inn or an Out isn't the problem here, de arimasu. The problem is that you're making puns and making a mess in the store, de arimasu."

Because if anyone is going to make a pun it should be the self-proclaimed comedian Keroro.

"You're the one saying outside food can't be in!" Hamel argued. Then grinned. "You're cleaning it up fine. Want some?" He shoved the meat toward the frog creature and another drip dropped. "It's reeeeaaaallly good." He waved it tantalizingly. Did frog creatures eat meat?

Please excuse him then while he shoves the mop into Hamel's face in response to the meat. At least it's clean and smells like lemon (and meat).

"No, de arimasu!"

"HEY!" Hamel splutters at having a 'dirty' mop shoved in his face. It was on the ground, it's dirty as far as he's concerned. Not that he's particularly fastidious about being clean or anything it's the PRINCIPAL of the matter. "What the fuck? Get that outta my face man." He starts making those 'puh' noises like he's trying to get stuff out of his mouth. It really kind of looks like he's spitting on the clean floor. This is only escalating.

Keroro's response is to shove the mop into Hamel's mouth. His logic is: If this guy is spitting, I should plug it up at the source.

"What do you think you're doing, de arimasu?!"

(Remember, good kids should not go around shoving mops into people's faces!)

Hoshit! Hamel leaps up and starts flailing and spits the mop back out. "What the hell?! You don't shove that shit in people's mouths!!" In the flailing that meat goes flying though somehow he holds onto the booze.

"Keroooo!"

Keroro dives for the meat, because his nice clean floor! Skidding to a halt, the meat makes a splat as Keroro just misses it.

Hamel, is still busy wiping his tongue with his cloak which is probably not much cleaner. Hamel's not much of a 'washer'. Espcially not laundry. He makes gagging noises and nearly knocks over one of the stands. "Ugh! Where's that corrosive drink?!" He grabs a coke off the shelf and gargles the fuck out of that thing.
