Description: A frog goes out to buy lunch, and ends up meeting a princess.





[Today finds Keroro at a Deathbucks near his stores, purchasing croissants to make sandwiches out of. Lunch was one of the most important meals of the day, after all.]

Please give me two dozen croissants, de arimasu!

[That was probably more than they needed, but he was certain the extra could be made into limited edition sandwiches for the lunch rush later on. He watches as the croissants are carefully put into a bag with tongs, the person working behind the counter making sure not to accidentally crush the flaky bread.]

Just that it was going to be live-action roleplaying, that there needed to be costumes, and some kind of grand master controlling everything, de arimasu. Apparently the princess is going to start off at a very high level, de arimasu?

[Or is he just cobbling together all of the information he only kind of remembers from the conversations he's had before with the other Bakura?]

And he's an evil spirit because he's haunting Bakura-dono, of course.

A high level? [All this nerdy info is going right over her head] No never mind, I better ask him about the details.

... he's not actually haunting him here really... [And there's the idea that she's partnering with a ghost that doesn't really sit all that well with her. She prefers thinking of him as a completely separate and human entity with some grudge issues...]

Yeah, I think you should, de arimasu. [Because Keroro honestly has no idea beyond that.]

Isn't he? But he never denies it when I ask him, de arimasu.

[Insert frowny face here]

Well you can't actually haunt someone if you're currently not an apparition, right? So instead of haunting it would be considered sta...stalking. [okay that's really not much better]

But no one that BREW brings in becomes an apparition, even if they're technically dead back in their own world, de arimasu. And being a stalker is just as bad, de arimasu. Not to mention the fact that you can't exorcise a stalker, de arimasu.

It is... but.. he's not a stalker... [or at least she doesn't think he is but she looks unsure...] You can get a restraining order for stalkers. This would be easier if they didn't also share a name...

....Doesn't he also like breaking into his apartment, de arimasu? Either way, he's a dangerous guy, de arimasu. I don't think a restraining order would have done any good, de arimasu.

What are you talking about? [stahp Keroro, she doesn't know he was/is a thief.] Look, if it was that bad, Ryou wouldn't have come of his own volition to visit Bakura while he was in the hospital.

Isn't that just because he's kind of too nice for his own good, de arimasu?

[Ryou is friends with Keroro, after all.]

Well if he's a glutton for punishment it's his own fault. [pot meet kettle] Bakura has been nothing but decent to me so forgive me if I can't take your word for it.

....Are you sure you're not just being fooled, de arimasu? Or under the influence of a ghost, de arimasu?

What would be the point of fooling me? There's really nothing to gain here.

Well, you're defending him right now, aren't you, de arimasu?

So? Are you not also working with him?

I can work with him even while not liking him, de arimasu.

And if he tries anything, I have a plan in place.

Really? What kind of plan?

[Well all right, that probably won't backfire or anything.]

A back-up plan that will get rid of him using the power of peer pressure and money, de arimasu.

[Seeing as the other Bakura isn't actually paying for anything, Keroro will fight tooth and nail if he tries to stay. It's his money and reputation on the line here, after all.]

Peer pressure? Do you think something like that will actually affect him? He doesn't really hit me as the type. [She's not sure about the money because money is pretty darn important]

If he has no one on his side, trying to stay when all of us want to vote him off will just cause him to look whiny and desperate. He'll have no choice but to leave!

[......Isn't that just bullying, Keroro....?]

Or it could just make him angry and vengeful. [She points out while squatting down carefully tucking her skirt behind her knees so she's doesn't have to look down at him.]

[Keroro appreciates not having to crane his neck to look up at her, so they both benefit.]

He's just a spirit. He can't do anything, de arimasu.

[Nothing Keroro was worried about right now. He'd worry about it when that actually happened.]

"Either way, he's a dangerous guy, de arimasu." Or so you said. I find it interesting that you would warn me away while taking the risk yourself.

"Just because he's dangerous doesn't mean I have to be afraid."

When Bakura is nowhere near here.
