Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 4th.

[Hello, determined young woman. Meet determined young (HE REALLY IS) man who has been discharged from the hospital about a couple of days ago. But he seems to have made a full recovery - okay, except for the bandages still around his arm.

The vest is absent from Edgeworth's outfit today; he's wearing a loose, long-sleeved and collared white shirt over burgundy trousers. The cravat is notably absent, as it usually was when he was doing strenuous work or fighting.]

Good morning. Do you wish to know your Meister ability?

[gonext]

Yes, I do.

[She presents herself well enough: proper, polite, but at the same time, she has an air of assertiveness.]

I had powers back in my world, but I haven't really fully figured out how they work here. Or what kind of ability I have, for that matter.

[prosecutory]

In that case, we shall begin with a discussion of the powers you have.

But first, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Miles Edgeworth, public prosecutor, and one of the heads of the Kuzunoha Detective Agency.

[He gives a bow.]

Alright.

I'm Karina Lyle. I'm new here, and I've recently been hired as a musician for Dorsia.

[She's a little surprised by the bow, but she's kind of used to dealing with all kinds of characters as part of being a hero. So out of courtesy, she curtsies in return as she introduces herself.]

[prosecutory]

A pleasure to meet you, Miss Lyle.

[A woman with class. Excellent.]

I have no special abilities that can aid us, so we shall discover your ability through the process of elimination and deduction.

[gonext]

So... how do we begin?

[prosecutory]

We begin with an interview. [Edgeworth pulls an organizer out from his pants pocket. Now his pen is poised and ready to write.] Can you tell me about the powers you had back home?

[gonext]

Well...

[She takes a breath, alright. It's not like NEXTs were secrets back in her world, after all.]

I could create and manipulate ice.

[prosecutory]

And what are the limits of this power?

[gonext]

Well... it's a pretty strong power, really. I can generate ice at will, freeze water, and even make projectiles out of them. The only thing I can't do is change the shape of ice or melt it once it's there.

[prosecutory]

It's very likely that your Meister ability here will be tied that power. Do you have any others?

[gonext]

I see. No, I don't have any other power besides that.

[everyonesconfidant]

[Meisters have abilities aside from wielding Weapons? That was news to Hiro. He entered this section and looked around for an instructor.]

[prosecutory]

[Surprise! This is Edgeworth, with only a loose long-sleeved shirt and pants instead of his usual outfit. Sorry, no frills right now. He walks back to his assigned area, still clutching a practice sword.]

I apologize for leaving my post; I take it you are here to know your Meister ability?

[everyonesconfidant]

[Hiro's attention goes to Edgeworth the moment he enters.]

Yep, that's right. I didn't know Meisters could do things other than wield Weapons.

[prosecutory]

[A nod.] They can, yes. Each Meister is given a certain power according to his or her skills, or any other powers he or she had back home.

[everyonesconfidant]

Hmm! I wonder if my power has something to do with summoning. Can you tell me what my power is, or is there something else I need to do first?

[prosecutory]

...And why do you think your power might be related to summoning?

[everyonesconfidant]

It's what I did at home. At home, I was given a phone app that summoned demons, and we used them to fight back against what was attacking our world.

[prosecutory]

You...used your phone to summon demons?

[everyonesconfidant]

That's right. We received something called the Demon Summoning App that allowed us to summon demons and use magic skills with our phones. I know it sounds weird, but that's how it worked.
