Description: The Hikan Cafe's grand re-opening and the first Chara Misfortune Series are going on sale!



Long time(?) customers of Metokkori R will notice some changes when they step into the store today. For one, part of the wall between the store and the Hikan Tea Shop has been broken down, and there's a glass shoji-styled sliding door installed in its place. If the customers are feeling peckish they can step through the door and enter to newly renovated Hikan Cafe...after paying for what they bought, of course.

The Hikan Tea shop has been renovated to match Metokkori R's decor. The place has a cute, friendly look to it, perfect for hanging out with friends, going on a date, or for family outings.

More important than all that, though, are the brightly coloured banners hanging from the ceiling of both stores advertising the "Chara Misfortune ☠ Metokkori R presents The Watch of Death City!". The whole series includes keychains of all the Zone Leaders and second in commands of the Watch. The display case near the cashier that usually displays Keroro's latest creation (read: Gunpla) is now proudly displaying a full set of Chara Misfortune Keychains.

[Stacked neatly on a shelf are boxes upon boxes holding the coveted Chara Misfortune: The Watch of Death City keychains. There is a small picture of all the Zone Leaders available on each box, but you won't know which one you get until you open it! Will you get the Karkat keychain you need to complete your set? Or will you end up with the Neji you already have five of? Or maybe you only want one (just one!) of Riza Hawkeye and after buying ten boxes you're finally going to get it.

The eleventh one is the charm after all. Or maybe it's the twelfth. Or the twentieth.

[Date Masamune is staring at the boxes that he has laid out in front of him. The young warlord is sitting on the floor in a corner and he's staring at them as if wishing they would reveal their contents without him having to open them.

There's another ten that have already been opened in a basket beside him but they seem hastily discarded. He's very much up for trading if you wish, as his job is to find the keychain of his retainer Katakura Kojuro. Which he can't seem to find for the life of him.]

He lays them out, frowns, shifts the order, frowns, and shifts then around again. Then slowly he picks up the first one and opens it with an expression of great focus on his his face.]

[He finds instead spiky hair, and pulls the figure out to reveal Karkat. Gai considers the figure for a moment before shrugging.]

[Temeraire is not one to be left out on certain things, especially with something that seems to be quite interesting as this.

Oh, he would prefer to have one of Toph and present it to her, but he would have to buy a good number of these boxes in order to find the one that's hers. That, and the promise of getting one of Mr. Mustang if one collects all the stickers is something that he would like to have.

Don't mind him, he's getting a good amount of said boxes, and quite willing to pay.

He has a sizeable amount of money to spend, thankfully.]
