[open] It's a time for new beginnings! And keychains. And making money
Characters: Keroro, Eve and anyone else in Metokkori R and the Hikan Cafe
Location: Metokkori R and the Hikan Cafe
Rating: G...unless you bring something higher with you.
Time: Febuary 21 onwards~
Description: The Hikan Cafe's grand re-opening and the first Chara Misfortune Series are going on sale!
Long time(?) customers of Metokkori R will notice some changes when they step into the store today. For one, part of the wall between the store and the Hikan Tea Shop has been broken down, and there's a glass shoji-styled sliding door installed in its place. If the customers are feeling peckish they can step through the door and enter to newly renovated Hikan Cafe...after paying for what they bought, of course.
The Hikan Tea shop has been renovated to match Metokkori R's decor. The place has a cute, friendly look to it, perfect for hanging out with friends, going on a date, or for family outings.
More important than all that, though, are the brightly coloured banners hanging from the ceiling of both stores advertising the "Chara Misfortune ☠ Metokkori R presents The Watch of Death City!". The whole series includes keychains of all the Zone Leaders and second in commands of the Watch. The display case near the cashier that usually displays Keroro's latest creation (read: Gunpla) is now proudly displaying a full set of Chara Misfortune Keychains.
((OOC: feel free to state whether your thread is open or closed~. More information about the Chara Misfortune Keychains are here))

[Hmm, well. Adjusts his glasses.] If you tell me what tea you would like, sir, I would be happy to handle your order for you. As for the food, I'm not very familiar with how to make the old food items since I only take care of the beverages, but I can have a colleague make your selection.
[The lack of his entire left arm should tell you why he doesn't do any cooking.]

[It's a challenge of sorts, though his tone is even; if he can receive a satisfactory combination with those instructions, he'll consider the place up to his standards. An improvement, even, since the staff is friendly.
...the stress of Death City has, perhaps, caused him to focus too much energy on things that don't really matter.]
Has anybody mentioned to you yet that you're very different from this place's new owner?

Very well, sir, and yes. [the corners of his lips twitch in a smile] That's often remarked upon. Truthfully, I took employment here because the merchandize in the store next door are Japanese, which is where I'm from.

[After which, Itou walks off to do just that. The white darjeeling tea is easy enough to brew, although he puts aside the steeped leaves in a small lidded bowl in case the customer prefers his tea a bit stronger. After some consideration, he grabs the tin of tuiles he bought for himself this morning (along with all sorts of crackers and snacks, because food is part of learning tea blends) and sets a handful in a saucer. So pot, bowl, cup, and saucer will go on a tray, and Itou precariously takes the entire thing in his hand (hasn't learned the proper way of holding things, no), to take to Jules.]
I apologize if I've taken long. [sheepishly] As for the dessert, I couldn't think of a suitable one for tea so light, so please can consider these tuiles on the house.

He barely looks up when the tea comes, although the book goes into his bag. Everything looks to be in order, although, really, even most misdeeds are forgivable when they include the phrase "on the house".]
If it was long, I noticed nothing. A good tea is worth waiting for, and compared to waiting for a shipment from across the sea, this is nothing.
[Not waiting to see if Itou is planning to leave or wait for further approval, he deftly fills the cup, admiring the subtle scent. There's obviously been plenty of competence put into the making of everything here, which was far more than was expected from anybody that a frog would hire.]

I hope that everything is to your taste. [pleasantly] If there's nothing else that you need, then perhaps I should stop imposing on your time and get back to the counter. As a point of curiosity, is this your regular preference of tea flavor?

Often enough, though you needn't feel pressured to remember it. [It would be appreciated, but...] If a man can't be adventurous with his tea, what can he?
