Description: The Hikan Cafe's grand re-opening and the first Chara Misfortune Series are going on sale!



Long time(?) customers of Metokkori R will notice some changes when they step into the store today. For one, part of the wall between the store and the Hikan Tea Shop has been broken down, and there's a glass shoji-styled sliding door installed in its place. If the customers are feeling peckish they can step through the door and enter to newly renovated Hikan Cafe...after paying for what they bought, of course.

The Hikan Tea shop has been renovated to match Metokkori R's decor. The place has a cute, friendly look to it, perfect for hanging out with friends, going on a date, or for family outings.

More important than all that, though, are the brightly coloured banners hanging from the ceiling of both stores advertising the "Chara Misfortune ☠ Metokkori R presents The Watch of Death City!". The whole series includes keychains of all the Zone Leaders and second in commands of the Watch. The display case near the cashier that usually displays Keroro's latest creation (read: Gunpla) is now proudly displaying a full set of Chara Misfortune Keychains.

[Keroro's just wandering around to wherever he's needed. And also to make sure that people are doing their jobs. (It's a vanilla-lemon milkshake with one of their house-made cream puffs on the top, Metokkori R newbie!)

Keroro's watching Itou's tea-blending with interest though. Hope you don't mind having an audience, Itou.]

[Itou glances at him and nods politely, but mostly just goes back to his thing. It's not like blending is particularly difficult... Green tea, apple tea, and cinnamon steeped in a mug later and he hands it over to Keroro.]

[Keroro takes the mug from Itou, breathing in the steam before taking a sip.]

This is...actually really good, de arimasu! What kind of a blend is it, de arimasu?

[pawned]

[blinks, and once again wonders a little at Keroro's enthusiasm about everything.] It doesn't have a particular name, Keroro-dono; I only made it because it reminded me of you. The Keroro Blend, I suppose?

[Enthusiasm keeps you young, Itou. Take it from the 2000 year old frog who acts like a kid all the time.]

Keroro blend? That's a perfect name for it, de arimasu! Ah, I should write this down and put it in the menu, de arimasu. What did you say was in it again, de arimasu?

[pawned]

[That's too much enthusiasm!]

[Why is it a perfect name, because it's named after you?!] Green tea, apple tea, and a bit of cinnamon tea.

[You can never have too much enthusiasm! And yes, it is because it's named after him.]

Green tea...apple tea...cinnamon tea. Keroro blend! There, de arimasu! [He ends his scribble on the napkin with a flourish before turning to Itou once again.]

What else have you come up with, de arimasu?

[He's mildly surprised, but uh, all right.]

I have one for Miss Eve. Honeybush apricot and white peach. Should I brew it...?

[Supporting your employees is important, Itou. By showing them that they're valued, they'll work harder. In theory.]

For Eve-dono? Then I'll try it, de arimasu. There aren't many customers right now anyways, de arimasu.

[Itou doesn't really think the same way. But he won't complain if Keroro means to be nice to him.]

[And he's taking a bunch of leaves from a bunch of jars and putting them together in a cup.] Do you like tea, Keroro-dono?

[And that's why Itou is the employee and Keroro is the employer.]

Of course, de arimasu. Tea is good for soothing the soul, de arimasu. [He heard this from a commercial.]

That sounds tacky, Keroro-dono. [super politely, even as he brings back another pot of steaming tea.] Please let this brew for a few more minutes.
