The discounted price came at a surprisingly good time. With the temperatures in Nevada climbing and no end in sight, it seems the owners of a Pacific Northwestern lodge took pity on the Meisters and Weapons of Shibusen and offered them a break from the heat. Despite it being July, the snow was still plentiful for skiing, snowboarding, sledding and innertubing! Dress warm, rent some gear or bring your own and have at it, they say!

From dawn to dusk, the mountain is lively on all sides, boarders and ski nuts to ski newbies enjoying a mid-week break while nature buffs take hikes over the trails on the greener side of the mountain, reachable by a short bus ride from the main lodge. Whether you're more into the powdery white or the vivid green, there's a spot for you to take a breather on Mount Hood.

Ohh, Hawaii definitely sounds like it'd be nice during the winter! I still wouldn't mind a beach trip honestly.

We'll have to see if someone can set one up then. Because beaches are pretty awesome. Though I guess it might be a little while before we can have another trip, since we are just having this one.

Yeah, that's pretty true. I think we should plan it in advance at least, y'know? That way we'll have something else to look forward to even after this.

Oh, definitely. Planning something like a trip to the beach is a lot better if we do it before it's supposed to happen. It makes things a lot less complicated and stuff.

Plus, we'll know how much food and things we'll need.

[evokes]

And if we got enough stuff, we could make it more of a beach party than just a trip! [parties are always better apparently.]

Yes. Yes! Definitely agreed on having it be more of a party. We don't have enough of them.

And I'm pretty sure that too many people are going to be interested in a beach trip to make it just a trip and not a party anyway.

Right? If a lot of people want to go, there's no way it can't turn into a party!

Yeah!

... Wow, I'm really excited for this now. I guess I'll ask to see if people want to start setting something like this up a couple of days after we get back or something. I mean, even if we can't have it really, really soon, the sooner we get started the sooner we can actually have it happen.

Seriously, this is pretty exciting to think about! The sooner the better we start planning too, since I'm guessing it's gonna take a lot of planning.

Okay then! I'll make sure to go ahead and ask around the network and stuff soon. Like... the type of food that people like and if they're interested and stuff like that.

[ No use having a party if no one liked the food somehow, after all. ]

Great! And if you get enough responses, maybe we can go shopping around together to get all the supplies when the time comes.

That sounds great to me Minako-chan! I'll definitely be in need of some company, no matter how many people we have.

Awesome, now we've got ourselves a plan! I know we're on vacation right now, but I'm already looking forward to doing all of this too.

Yeah, I know what you mean! I'm super excited too!

[ She grins, looking at Minako's sewing project again. ]

Though I guess I'm distracting you from what you're trying to do right now, aren't I?

[evokes]

[She waves it off, laughing.] Nah, don't worry about it! I still have plenty of time to get this done.

Alright, I'll make sure not to worry about it then!

[ She goes ahead and takes a sip of her hot chocolate, before looking over at Minako again. ]

So, umm, how's it been with you and Josuke-san? Everything going okay on the mission front?

[evokes]

[a nod] More or less, yeah. I wonder if we should be taking on more missions though... I feel like I'm taking things too easy here. What about you though, Chika-chan? Did you manage to find a partner?

[scatterflower]

Yeah, I have.

[ She can't help but giggle though. ]

I... totally understand what you mean about the taking on more missions thing. Asuka and I haven't been able to go on as many as I'd like. Not with the Arcade for me to run and all.

[evokes]

That's great! I'm glad to hear it.

Yeah, my job keeps me pretty busy most of the time. I need to make more time in my schedule at this rate.

[scatterflower]

[ Chika nodded, though she frowned and sighed. ]

Yeah. More time. If only there was some easy way to get that. Have you changed jobs since you got here, or are you still working at that Cafe?

[evokes]

[She shakes her head.] I'm still working at the cafe. It's honestly a lot of fun! Just, y'know, a lot of time you have to put into it.

[scatterflower]

[ Chika giggles at the comment about it being a lot of work. She's the last person who needed to be told about that.]

I'm glad to hear that you still like working there, even if it is a lot of work. Running the arcade is really the same for me. Tons of fun, but it eats up all my time. At least that's how it seems by the end of the week.

[evokes]

Yeah, I bet it'd be fun considering how fun it usually is to go to an arcade in general. I should try to free up time to stop by there too; it's been a while since I've gone to an arcade. [She can only imagine that Junpei would've dragged her there all the time if he was here.]

[scatterflower]

[ Chika brightens up even more at that. ]

You definitely should! We have a lot of fun games and stuff there! I don't exactly get to play the games a lot, since, well, manager. But that doesn't mean that I can't show you around a little bit.

[ As for Junpei, he's the one who started the Arcade in the first place, so yeah he'd probably drag you in if he were still here. ]

[Oh man IF ONLY SHE KNEW...!]

When we get back home, I'll put it up at the top of my list of things to do! [Does she even actually have a list?? Probably not, but she's all about having fun man.] I could definitely use a little more game-playing in my life at this point.
