EVENT: The Great BREW Malfunction Pt 1 [OPEN]

Description: ...something strange is going on here.

At some point, something strange begins to happen. People start randomly disappearing. Sometimes they reappear immediately after and they may not even notice, but sometimes there's a noticeable lag between their disappearance and their reappearance.

Sometimes, they don't even reappear in the same place!

At least it doesn't seem to be dangerous. Unless you disappeared from your kitchen and reappeared at the other end of the city. In which case, you might want to start running.

Either everything sort of points at this being BREW related (after all, if it were Witches, there would be a lot more danger).

[She huffs in her Weapon form and changes back... all but her tail which looks the same as the brush head. The black tip glistens with ink as she draws out a circle and a line before Karkat. In a burst of confetti, a cherry bomb appears, its wick hissing.]

Hamel has his back to Keroro when the alien comes around the corner and he only notices him because of the squeak and then the 'yelling'. Which really isn't yelling but Hamel is definitely a man of extremes. He looks over his shoulder at Keroro and blinks, alchohol addled brain working slowly before he hiccups and a bit of grease slides off the drumstick and onto that clean floor. "Outside food?" He tilts his head as he thinks it over. "This is inside food. I got it inside the inn."

He chews, then swallows and then grins. "The cow was outside food."

"Yer a sorcerer?" He asked tilting his head and squinting like he could make the determination if she looked fuzzier. And also try to figure out why she can't buy booze. Did she rob a distillery or something? Hamel doesn't have drinking ages in his world. "Doesn't matter. Cash money will do." He opened and closed his hand in a gimme gesture. "That's magical too." His grin at that is wide.

[The voice that comes from the weapon is a little shaky-- clearly disturbed by the sudden turn of events. Given how she had arrived from her world in her Blue Rose costume again, there was a very high chance the person who picked her up couldn't recognize her. She certainly couldn't recognize him.]

[Among all the people in Death City, Chika was one of the few who could still recognize her as Blue Rose, with that frosty hairstyle and all-blue make-up. With that said, she was somehow relieved when she picked her up from the stairs.]

Chika! I'm so glad you're here.

[Of all the people who picked her up, why did it have to be this jerk? Karina might have muttered it aloud, but she knew that even if she did so using her thoughts, it could channel to the person holding her.

... or it didn't need to. Because with how she didn't like Hyoubu, her form immediately rejected him with a sharp burning sensation.]

G-Grease....on his clean floor....

Keroro immediately runs back for a mop and starts scrubbing at the spot, "This isn't an inn, de arimasu!"

I do not get injured in battle.

[Or he didn't until he arrived in this world. The few small times he had on that pathetic planet had been due to his own arrogance and not due to his lack of skill. That was something Sephiroth could freely admit to himself. His pride, after all, had been his downfall far too many times.

He couldn't imagine being without his partner, but then again, Sephiroth knew the path that would lay ahead of him if he was ever without Cloud. What may have happened to him if they never had been forced into their partnership never entered his mind for he didn't want to consider such options. It appeared that not everybody was as fortunate.

The mention of connecting with this child's brain had Sephiroth glancing away as he softly grunted to himself remembering all too well of someone else that would have been similar.]

[ Well, at the very least, she might as well try it. Besides, Aqua knows what's going on, having been a weapon for a lot longer than she was. So... focus on being Chika, not on being a digivice. Got it. That shouldn't be too hard, right? She knew what she looked like.

Well. This sucks. What do we do now?

[ Because like hell if Chika knew how to change back. ]

[He was only half paying attention to what the other two were conversing about. His grip on his Meister ability seemed to weaken when he allowed for his emotions to get the better of him - a fact that greatly displeased the ex-General. Yet he heard the tail end of the conversation when that pale fool spoke of feeling ill.

It was the poke to his side though that had him glancing at Alucard before to Cloud as he frowned at his partner. With his expression souring for a mere moment, he couldn't prevent the flash of irritation for his current situation.]

Then perhaps I should leave you two in peace.

[He needed to be better than this.]

[ Chika couldn't help but have her lips curl up into a small smile as she heard that. ]

Hey Karina! I'm glad that I found you. You okay?

[ No Chika. She wasn't okay. ]

... Never mind, stupid question. Let's... just focus on getting you out of your weapon form before anything else.

[It seemed Sephiroth was a little indignant about the suggestion of getting injured, but he wisely said nothing about it. The older man had made sacrifices in combat to keep him safe, so he wasn't about to contest that here in front of someone else.

He watched the way that Duo reacted to Sephiroth, and it was entirely the way that someone would having previously dealt with a person of Sephiroth's caliber. He wondered who that person was in Duo's world.] Who do you know that acts like him? Someone from your world?

[He smirked at the idea of someone else keeping up with either his or Duo's thoughts.] You just need someone really stoic like my partner. He sorts me out just fine.

[redregrets]

Woah, woah what the fuck! Bombs are not okay. Bombs are the enemy. "Have you completely lost it? Has your think pan dribbled out of your auricular sponge clots? There aren't any enemies here and you're going to kill both of us!"

[She chuckles slightly at his panic and draws again. This time, a line through the bomb. It doesn't explode, but it does disappear in a puff of smoke.]

[He noticed.]

H-Haunted book, de arimasu.

[He runs out of the shop....

Back to his own shop for some Hokkaido sea salt, which he thinks is a bit expensive for getting rid of evil haunted books, but what can you do. (He'll bill Lily for it later.)]

[Unfortunately, she still isn't very good at it so when he returns, he'll likely find the the book glowing again but not changing shape.]

Good - I thought you might've taken a good knock on the steps.. [ Though, with that established he isn't... quite sure what to do with her, having never wielded a weapon himself before. Usually, he was the one being wielded, so he supposed he'd leave it up to her. ]

Do I have to set you down for you to turn back, or.. ?
