Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

All right, what weapons have you used? A whip can be wielded the same way as a lot of them.

Nope. He kept coming back too. He was a Ghost Pirate first. Then, a Zombie Pirate and a Demon Pirate. But Guybrush defeated him each time!

Swords mostly. A cutlass to be exact. [She studies the obijime, wondering if the slashing motions she was used to with a sword would work on this.]

Is Guybrush someone you know? A friend of yours?

[There's a long moment as Sheena thinks about this.]

You know, I think that might work, although, with a whip, hold it up higher than you would a sword before striking--like you're getting ready to throw it.

Guybrush Threepwood is a ruthless pirate who's legendary throughout the Caribbean! I've been following his adventures my whole life! [She sounds kind of like a fangirl...]

Like this? [Morgan holds the handle up in front of her at around eye level.]

He's a legend? [She pauses a moment. Maybe it's the fangirl aspect, or the resonance, but Sheena feels something about this pirate.] He sounds more true than one of the legends on my world.

[There's a moment of silence as she's positioned.]

Yeah! That's a good start! Now swing me like you're slashing a sword!

His deeds are the stuff of legend but Guybrush is real. I've even had the chance to face off against him in a glorious battle! [She's quite enthusiastic about this topic!]

[That she can do quite well. Morgan swings the handle, sending the obijime lashing out.]

Really?

[And that's not astonishment, but awe, from the ninja coming through the resonance.]

How did it go?

[Some may think that's a silly question considering Morgan is right here, but Sheena knows there are three possible outcomes to any battle: Victory, Defeat, and Draw.

But before she can ask anything else, she's being used, the obijime make a distinct mark on the practice dummy before them.]

Nice! That was really good! Would you like to try it with an element added?

[She's gushing and the excitement can be felt in her wavelength, also giving a boost to the resonance due to Morgan's Soul Excitement ability.]

Guybrush was amazing! Seeing his techniques in person, it was even more impressive than all the stories! I didn't manage to capture him but I did get his hand!

[And the dent on the dummy isn't bad, considering she doesn't normally use a whip.]

Okay. What element? Do I get to choose?

[Sheena can feel that sudden rush, and it surprises her slightly. She hadn't felt anything like that before; so different from Soul Calming.

And very contagious.]

His hand? [That's not something Sheena herself would go for, but she understands just how close the other woman had to have been to the legendary pirate and is impressed.

And that flows through her resonance, adding to her pleasure at the strike on the dummy, even as she answers her question.]

Yep! From the colors on the whip, I know what elements I can use. Red is Fire, Blue is Water, Orange is Earth, Purple is Lightning, Green is Wind, and Light Blue is Ice.

So, pick which one you'd like!

[Sheena might be misunderstanding a little when Morgan talks about getting his hand. Sure, she idolized Guybrush but she meant she literally got his hand...]

Yes, the Marquis de Singe wanted Guybrush's hand so he hired me to get it.

Water. [She says decisively.] I miss the sea. [And Morgan takes another swing at the training dummy.]

[Nope. Sheena understands perfectly; and that takes a lot of courage and skill to be able to get close enough in order to get something like that--especially from someone who's a legend.]

All right, Water it is.

[And Sheena can feel the young woman's fondness for the sea, which helps her Weapon form take on a dark-blue glow pretty quickly, so by the time she's swinging at the dummy, Sheena is a solid blue, adding the sting of Water Damage as the full power is unleashed on the target.]
