Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

Hiring staff is simple enough. The tricky part is commissioning more work to display. I don't have much experience in art, so I'm not always certain what people wish to see.

I see... Unfortunately, art is not my forte either. Still, what I do know is art is subjective. The artist and audience will often have different interpretations of a piece so making something for all audiences is near impossible. I'm sure if you made an inquiry over the network, someone would step forward with a better idea.

You're probably right. I had not given the network much thought, but it would be a more effective method of finding talent.

[Even after all these months, face-to-face conversations come more naturally to him than talking through video feed. At least the audio setting works more or less like a phone...]

...Could it be preparing for something? Of course, it is impossible to know anything for certain with BREW, but...

It's possible... the thought is worrisome though. What could it be preparing for? Another invasion?

It has been a while since the last one. Other than Erinyes and the recent kidnappings, it has been relatively quiet.

But to bring more new people simply means more Guests for the slaughter instead of citizens... [... She doesn't like what she just voiced.]

...BREW may simply think of them as potential soldiers. Replaceable. [He doesn't like it either, and it shows.]

If only we could understand how it works. Yes, it could drag in more people, but what of those who have to watch their friends die and then be returned? What of those who have to be forgotten?

I hate to say it, but larger numbers may end up being necessary for us to win the war... even if it means putting more people at risk.

The best we can do right now is to make sure we won't lose anyone else.

... I know. Strategies often win wars, but not everyone in Death City would cooperate.

No... but there are always those who do wish to help. We'll just have to manage.

They have been fine so far. We will be heading to Guatemala tomorrow.
