Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

[Since mutation is something that Erik has a lot of passion for, explaining a bit is not something he will hold back on.]

Where I come from, some people are born with something more...as something more. This is just one of many things I was able to do there.

[He considers a moment what Morgan had done when she wielded him. If they are supposed to work together then they needed to both be comfortable. This is definitely progress on the coin, but they can do better.]

Is there a weapon you used where you come from?

Born with unusual powers then? [That's really not something Steve can relate to, but he's met others that have always had strong abilities too.] Seems like you could do a lot of good with your ability.

[Steve stops moving the coin for a moment to answer.] A shield, different than the one I have here. It's more round and made completely out of vibranium.

[A lot of good. That is something he is sure that Charles would have said. He pretty much did when he told Erik that they should not be harming humans. He decides not to reply to that just yet.]

If you would feel comfortable fighting with a shield then we can make one. Molding and shaping metal to what you would prefer is an option.

Wouldn't be opposed in trying that. [Making his own shield sounds really neat and Steve seems a little pleased by the idea.]

Then we can do so. We need a decent amount of metal to shape it with.

[As Morgan had managed to figure out how to create a weapon, Erik assumes that Steve will be able to as well. There is a different feel to him than the other obviously. He cannot quite figure talent through that.]

My weapon was and is always myself. Metal and electromagnetism in general is what I manipulate. Creativity plays a large part in it. It keeps things fresh.

[Steve starts to focus on the metal around them, slowly moving any parts closer to him so that he can start working on the shield. It's not going to be a fast process, but he's getting there at least.]

Form anything that works with the situation. It's a good mindset to have in battles. [Sometimes it's all about making do with what you have in a war.]

[As long as it is efficient then Erik is not going to complain. This should prove to be more appropriate than just jumping at the first chance to go on a mission. It had gone well enough before...not really what he wants ultimately out of a battle.

When he goes, he wants to be prepared. Preparation is indeed good, but he doubts his own mindset would be understood given the circumstances back in his own world.]

It's the only thought process one should have as long as it is efficient.
