Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

[Hamel tilts forward a little at the sudden weight before righting himself and looking the helmet over. It looks a little weird but not bad actually.]

[At Erik's instructions, he moves to plop the helmet right on his head on top of his regular hat. Which cushions it when his horn hits. Leaving the helmet about an inch and a half off the top of his head. Hamel shift it around trying to get it down farther but it's all rounded.]

[Erik is really starting to doubt this one's intelligence. That is a given since they met. How he manages to not snap on the man is beyond him. Patience is not a strong virtue for Erik.]

...Taking off your hat would be the intelligent way to go about this. On the Meister previously, my shape conformed to her head. I have no doubt it will be the same for you.

[Hamel gets a distinctly shifty look at the mention of taking off the hat. He looks at all the people standing around. Things don't go well back home when people see the horn. Things really really don't go well. Like stonings and shit. Also, Hamel has not yet figured out he can talk back in people's heads.]

Uh... out here? [Maybe he could sneak off into the bushes. People had to take a leak while practicing, right? There had to be bushes with enough cover. Ah hah, over there...]

I'll just uh... I'm gonna do it over there.

[Erik really has to wonder what he has gotten himself into with this one. Is his head going to explode if he removes his hat? He just sort of eyes him before shrugging.]

Do whatever makes you...comfortable.

[Hamel slips off into the bushes and crouches down, peeking out a couple times to make sure no one is watching. And then he quickly whips off his hand and heafts Erik up over his head. At the last second he realizes he might need to put him on slowly so he has time to adjust shape and he lowers the helmet more carefully.]

Let me know when it's ok to get you all the way on. [He pauses and thinks that over deciding it sounds disturbingly gay and corrects it] Er when you're the right shape or whatever.
