Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

[Dude hits like a semi truck, and right into the chest it goes. But as he fought to get the air back into his lungs, he grabs that arm and pulls him closer. It'd risk another hit but he could bring his knee in for a body shot on the old man all the while.]

*Auron only manages to twist a little bit, so Kanji's knee slams into his side and not in his stomach. It does force him backward with a wince.*

Guess I should be glad you're not hitting me with a desk.

*Aw crap. It's on his blind side too, so Auron has to back up in order to see the fist completely and just barely block it with his arm.*

If you brought furniture, I'd be dead.

Ain't hard! [He continues the assault. Bad on the left, huh...?]

There's a huge difference in using a sword and using something as unbalanced as a desk.

*Don't think he can't figure out what you're doing, kid. Auron leans in to block another punch and to try to stamp down on Kanji's foot with his heavy boots.*

[Ow, FUCK- A grunt of pain later, and he's taking advantage of their close proximity, swinging an elbow to the gut.]

*It does hurt but Auron's stomach is hardened with years of exercise. Because Kanji is right there, it's not much to sweep Kanji's legs and go for a takedown.*

[Oh, hello gravity, what's goin' on- Kanji goes down hard, but he tries in the interim to hook a leg behind his knee to bring the old man down, too. But whether that works or not...]

*It does work, but Auron makes sure he's on top and pinning Kanji's shoulders to the ground for a 1-2-3 count by sitting on top of his chest.* You about done, kid? *Is there going to be a dramatic last minute throw off?*

[He's growling and struggling to upend Auron's weight.]

Sh-... sh-shuddup, I'm just gettin' started...!

[But with another grunt he's realizing that he's got a mission later that might need every ounce of what he had, and he reluctantly goes slack.]

Tch-! Fine, I'll let it go just this once. Got a mission later to take it easy for, anyway, so you lucked out! Tomorrow's gonna be different.

A mission with your partner hunh? Guess you got saved by the girl. *He sits up and helps Kanji to his feet.*

Heh. Sh-shuddup. Ain't no saving when I show up tired and she drags me on the mission anyway, get us both wiped out.

[He takes the offer and pulls on up.]
