Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

I am one of the two strongest gods of my world. What you saw wasn't even a sliver of my real power. Can you imagine what happens if I truly get emotional?
[Clue: nothing mortals would find funny] I think I let my disappointment simply fester too much.

That's what I meant. Because you don't have your powers here I can't say you're back to normal. It's your usual self because the Madness isn't letting your emotions out of control.

[She tilted her head. Hmm... how to cheer him up.]

... Can I brush your fur?

[At that, Hades blinked.


Looking baffled.]

What?

[Wow, she caught him off guard.]

[She fidgets on her feet]

Well, sometimes when I felt upset, my dad would do that... Your fur could probably use a little brushing anyway.

Well [What harm could it do? And being brushed feels nice.]


...alright?

[She grins and runs around. First a chair for Hades to sit in and a brush... where was that-- bingo! One standard brush in hand, she stands by the chair]

Okay! Ready.

[kill_some_time]

[He blinks once more, one of his ears twitching lightly as h contemplates that he feels somehow tricked.

But he obediently walks over and sits down to let himself be brushed.]

Start with the feathers first.

The feathers... Okay, I can do that.

[Have to be careful as to not pull those out or bend them as she brushes. Too bad they don't make a brush for feathers; that would be much better right now.]

[He leans into the touch with a small sigh that he himself doesn't register. The sensation of having one's feathers brushed is hard to describe but relaxing nonetheless.]

When you do things like that I sometimes feels as if I could begin to understand why humans can't live without company.

[She smiles because she knew this would help him.]

It's nice to have someone there to help. Especially in the back. [She continues brushing his feathers]

Help? I don't think it's about that exactly. ..One does not care about one's looks if there is nobody around to return the care either.

That's true. I don't think about my appearance here that often, but it's hard to reach the back alone when I'm combing.

[Seriously, her hair was still jutting out everywhere.]

Heh. That too. [He leans back and lets her do.]
