Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

How's a little guy like you get signed up as a pirate?

[Chopper just tilts his head curiously.] I don't think they're that bad, but all animals are different. Maybe she just thinks she's really cool because she's a pegasus and doesn't need to be treated like that.

[Doesn't make him want to meet her any less of course. The last pegasus he saw wasn't really that impressive...]

I joined a crew, that's how! Luffy's the name of my captain, and he asked me to join, so I said yes!

S-so ya sailed on ships and all that cool stuff? [He couldn't help sounding a bit eager. He was talking to the cutest pirate.]

What about treasure? Loot? You guys do that whole thing?

Yeah! My crew has a really big and awesome ship! It's called the Thousand Sunny! We sail around everywhere on it. We've been in the sky and even under the water! And we've found lots of treasure! That's part of what it's like to be a pirate.

Well yeah, but I ain't heard of a ship that can turn into a submarine or an airship, neither. Did it have a really flashy tokusatsu-style transformation?

[We do not mention that name ever again..... but his bitty lips are sealed.]

Yeah!! Sunny's really awesome! Our ship can't really transform, but it has a cannon, and it can blast off into the sky! It's sooo cool!

Maybe I should make a crew...

You don't need to sign up for anything! Anyone can be a pirate! Having a crew is really fun! If you can make one, you should! You'd need a ship though, and I don't think there's an ocean around here.. are there shipwrights at least?

Oh yeah, we're in the middle of a desert right now... [As if realizing this just now, rubbing his chin.]

Dunno what shipwright means, but I doubt we got one around here. ...Oh, but there's this mirror up in the Death Room in Shibusen that can take you anywhere! I mean, I take it to go on missions all the time and it beats takin' planes and everything. Maybe it could be taken to the coast to the west, do some sailing there... there'd be some ships out there without owners, yeah?

A shipwright is a person that builds ships. My crew has one. He helped make the ship we have right now, and whenever we need to fix things or make improvements, he takes care of that too!

[Chopper tilts his head at the new information.] A mirror that... lets you travel to other places?

[reindere]

That's so cooooool~!!

I wanna go! I wanna go through the mirror!

Ah, wait. What's a plane?

Plane's a kinda ship, but all it does is fly. Then normal ships stay on water but can't do much else... so your world lucked out, man.

A ship that flies?! [Even though his crew's old ship flew once, that was only through the help of an octopus (yes you read that right), so imagining a ship that flies in the sky all on its own... get him on that thing stat.]

Uoooh! There's something like that here?! This place is amazing!
