Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

I wonder how many people have ever been here? And before me too... but I'm glad that you have some help! I bet it gets really busy in the hospitals with how much happens here.

Yeah. You would think people wouldn't attack each other when there's Kishin eggs and Witches always threatening to do that. The hospitals get really busy when there's large-scale missions.

Oh, right! The people from the city fighting with the guests! That's right, I almost forgot about that... it sounds pretty bad. That only makes things worse. I wish they understood that it's difficult enough to deal with the problems with the witches. Fighting against each other and the people trying to help you doesn't do anything good.

[bloodinbloom]

No, it doesn't and I wish they would understand that.

[She sighed] I didn't know people could be like this until I got here really. It makes me miss being home.

Some people are just like that, unfortunately. They don't listen at all, they just want to fight and hurt others, because they think it'll get them what they want.

[Even though he can't really sympathize with being surprised at this sort of violent attitude, living in a rather hectic and combative world himself, he can at least understand how jarring of a change it'd be for someone not used to it.]

What's your home like?

Hm...

[She seems upset, but she manages to look a little brighter when he asks]

It wasn't much. My Daddy and I had a small house out in Mexico and the closest town had to be about an hour away I think. Anyway, dad was a doctor and I helped him since my brother didn't come along. When he was away, I planted a whole bunch of milkweeds around the house. It was so pretty when they started blooming - I dragged him out of the house to see...!

[Even though the name of the place doesen't ring any bells, Chopper doesn't ask about where this "Mexico" is and instead stays silent as she tells her story, pretty happy to hear about it.]

Your dad was a doctor? That's great! It sounds like you had a lot of fun! It's almost like how I grew up too! I was raised by a doctor. I didn't plant anything though, since I lived on a winter island called Drum and nothing could really be planted there.

[bloodinbloom]

You were too? [She smiles widely. She never expected to know someone else like that.]

A winter island? Wow!

Uhuh! Where I'm from, there are different islands and some of them have different seasons on them. There are summer islands too, even one with a desert, but those aren't really my favorites.

Kureha is the name of the doctor that helped me learn all about medicine! I call her Doctorine though. She's one of the best doctors I know.

[bloodinbloom]

I wish I could see them.

[Spring especially!]

Doctorine? She must have taught you a lot.

She did! It's because of Doctorine that I learned as much as I did, and it made me a really good doctor! I owe her a lot! Now I can travel around with my crew and help them and other people as much as I can.

[bloodinbloom]

I would've liked to help people, but dad said it was best if I stayed away from them.

[reindere]

Really? [Chopper looks more than a little confused and worried by that.] How come? There's no reason that you shouldn't be able to help people.

[bloodinbloom]

Well, I was born something and BREW stops it here, but back home, people could get sick from it. Daddy never told me directly, but I found out later.

[reindere]

You were born with something that makes people sick? Like... some highly transmittable disease? H-how? But you work in a hospital! And how come I'm not sick right now?

[bloodinbloom]

It's transmitted by blood and here, BREW keeps it from infecting people. Still, I get a little nervous when I hurt myself accidentally.

[reindere]

Contaminated blood... I've never heard of a condition like that. And it doesn't harm you in any way?

[bloodinbloom]

No. I actually can't get diseases because of it.

[reindere]

Really? Wow... [That's kind of freaky, but as a doctor, that's also... terribly interesting.]

Was it just something you were born with? Or did you contract it somehow? --ah, sorry about all my questions! If you don't want to answer them, you don't have to!

[bloodinbloom]

Mhm... [She blinks] It's okay. I only found out after Daddy adopted me.

[reindere]

[This whole story gets more and more complicated by the second.]

Um, I don't want to bother you, but since I'm a doctor... I'd still like to ask more questions. But maybe that's better for another time.

--do you know what your illness is called though?

[bloodinbloom]

Yeah, that's okay. [She grins and doesn't seem bothered. She's always a little happier talking about her virus because she doesn't have to keep it a secret so much.]

It doesn't really have a name. Everyone just called it Rosalia Virus... but it's part of the Group V RNA virus of the Filovirale... no Filoviridale - Filoviridae family.
