Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

[Oh hey, it's that one awkward dude she hasn't seen in a while! And Fujino is just about to walk right into him, but she catches herself and immediately stops.]

Good morning...

[And thus she trails off because that uniform, what the heck??]

Um, are you feeling alright?

[Oh hey, it's the food-woman!

Eren's expression turns into an awkward smile.]

Uh, hello! [Well, this was going well. He sighs, unintentionally scowling just a little again in an unhappy pout.] Uh... I am, I just didn't expect the heat or that you can wear other things than your uniform here while training. [Meaning, no, not really.]

Oh! Well, just take off your jacket, and you should be fine.

[It's not like anything underneath it would completely cover up everything, right...]

[After an awkward moment of inner debating of whether or not he's okay with doing it - the uniform has become like part of himself - he reluctantly shrugs it off, revealing a rather simple green shirt beneath it.]

Thanks, but that's ...not exactly the point. [He makes it sound as if it's her fault for creating the situation they're now in. Clearing his throat quickly, he asks] So. Have you been here for long?

[Gosh Eren, how rude!! But no really, she doesn't even notice.]

Not too long? I've been here since the middle of May, so there's still a lot to learn about. Why do you ask?

Because I was wondering if this is the usual state of how things are being handled here or if it's just still the aftermath of that abduction-attack.

[and the rudeness continues]

Hmmm. Well, it was like this when I got here, so it must be a usual thing.

[eyeballs his outfit again]

...are you part of a military service, by any chance?

[everylastone]

[That's exactly what he feared. He grimaces a little before her question makes him stand straighter as he half-salutes before remembering that that isn't really needed or a good idea here.]

I am. I finished my training a couple of weeks ago and am now a proud member of the Scouting Legion.

[fujigglephysics]

[Okay, that was weird. But, it's best not to ask further so she gives a bow in return.]

Is that so? Congratulations, then.

[Still kind of eyeballing that uniform, yup.]

...pardon for asking, but what other clothes do you have?

[everylastone]

[That earns her fleeting smile which shows a younger side of him that is still childishly proud of making his dream come true, no matter what dire circumstances have led up to it or lethal that job is.]

[He frowns, confused.] ...the ones the people from the hospital gave me. Why?

[Her mouth slowly opens halfway as if she's about to say something, but it stays agape for a few moments or so.

The wonders never cease...]

Would you like to come shopping with me? [Wait, that was kind of quick to ask. But she doesn't have anything else to do for the day...!

Yeah, she's gonna fluster a bit.] U-um, that is, if you really want to.

Eh, I don't mind. But why? Do you need somebody to carry things for you?

[Fujino, your suffering is hitting in deaf ears.]

No, never! I was thinking of, um, hanging out and maybe getting to know each other better.

[Because wanting to be with people they like well enough to spend time with them is normal, right? If others can do it, then so could she! Even if Fujino doesn't really know them!!]

[everylastone]

Ahhh, okay? [More confusion because his mind is too filled with titans to come to misunderstanding conclusions right now. But if she keeps up he might!]

[fujigglephysics]

Mmm, not right now. I think afternoon would be better, so let's meet up at that time. Umm, but if you can't make it, then we can reschedule it to tomorrow.

Any time's fine with me. It's not like I've got to do anything besides training and some cleaning up.. [He trails off, grimacing at himself for how much he had sounded like his captain for a moment right now. The expression quickly turns into a faint grin because Levi's quirks were making for a fine routine to keep your hands busy when your mind was busy buzzing around. Bag carrying probably worked just as well.]

Do you think we can look for a pair of shoes for me while we're at it? I don't want to wear my boots down just because they're all I have.

Mm, definitely! I'll see you later, then!

[And she walks off.






Except not because she only takes a couple of steps before turning back, looking like she's lost something.]
