Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

[It's become a habit to hang out with Neji at the tail end of training everyday. So Lee comes over and rests with his Meister, but his silence is a little different. Contemplative.

After a while, he decides to ask.]

Neji? May I ask you your opinion on something?

[It's a nice way to settle down at the end of training, with just his partner for company, but the silence and somber demeanor of his teammate was always a telling sign of his teammate's mood. So he expects a question, he's just not sure what kind]

My opinion? What is it, Lee?

Hmm... [Lee stalls a short moment, but there's no way he can stay silent for long.]

Do you think... I am a pervert?

[Neji blinks, taken aback by the question. Why would Lee think he thought of him as.. well considering a few things, but those were private. If anything, it might've been the other way around..]

No... I- Lee, where did this come from?

[It was relieving to hear Neji did not think that of him. But he still felt awkward. Reaching up with his good arm, Lee scratched at the back of his neck.]

Someone said that I was... the night before we went on our mission. I did not dwell on it until now because we were busy but...

[Alarm shot through his veins, suddenly uncertain about how the accusation came up. Still, he tried to remain calm]

Lee... what were you talking about at the time?

The... Hug Brigade. And about... looking at women.

[Lee bit his bottom lip.]

It is not that I am trying to make something that our good-natured sensei created into something depraved! And while yes, I do work at the strip club, it is because I am there to protect them not to look so....

[The momentary panic faded, and Neji took a moment to relax, relieved that Lee hadn't said anything about... other things]

There's nothing wrong about either of them, Lee. That person was likely trying to lure you into an argument.

Ah, that is good.... I was starting to think that maybe what they said was true...

[Neji breathed a small sigh, placing a supporting hand on his Weapon's shoulder]

There's no need for that. You didn't take that job to take advantage of your position there and hugging people, much as some would prefer you didn't, isn't perverse in itself.

[Lee smiles, relaxing a bit.]

Thank you, Neji. I suppose I needed some reassurance. I do not always make correct assumptions about things, so it helps to have someone to ask.

[He nods, letting his hand fall, pleased that he could help reassure his teammate]
