Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

[That's exactly what he feared. He grimaces a little before her question makes him stand straighter as he half-salutes before remembering that that isn't really needed or a good idea here.]

I am. I finished my training a couple of weeks ago and am now a proud member of the Scouting Legion.

[Mizuno has been slowly getting better at her weapon's training. But she still has to take frequent breaks because she's still not used to any sort of rigorous workout.

It's during one of those breaks that she spots something that catches her eye. Specifically, Eren's outfit. She really likes the way it looks.

And so she rushes up to him, a bright smile on her face as she stops in front of him.]

Aaaah! I really like your jacket! It looks so cool! Aren't you hot though? I'm a little hot and I'm just in overalls.

[With that, she giggles.]

I am attempting to. My Lord, I do not think it is necessary for the temperature to be at three digits.

*Alucard sits next to him. Actually it's more like flopping next to him with a groan. The dhampir did not do very well in the heat at all.*

Logically, you're expecting me not to know, so I guess it's something from your world. 'Maneuver' implies it's for some form of motion, most likely to aid you in your war against your titans to make you more agile. The '3D' says it permits three-dimensional motion, or traversing along the X-Y-Z axes. No doubt this is due to titans being more or less gigas; that is, standing at impeccable heights and require swift movement up and down.

However, it can't solely be for movement; you have to have some form of weapon on you for confrontation. Swords maybe for more accuracy. I can't imagine bullets working well against titans. And since all Weapons here have never been in separate pieces, it's all bound together. What it may look like on the other hand, I can only speculate.

So, what did I miss?

[He's not supposed to run away. Not even from tall, curvaceous nurses.]

A knife. [He's not even going to try attempting to explain what a progressive knife is right off the bat. Just 'knife' always seemed to be a sufficient explanation, anyway.]

[Her eyebrow raises and there's a small grin under her mask.] Small, concealable, just right... When you want to go on a mission, you know how to reach me.

[She's not exactly happy to be sized up by this woman but her posture remains perfect through the duration. And she kind of just waits because she's not very good with other girls...]

So... I guess did you want to try resonating?

Actually...Not much. [He looks a little dumbfounded. He'd have been willing to bet that she'd get at least the swords wrong.] What's 'gigas'?

Actually, I just think they got the coordinates wrong, because if I understand it right, they're numbers?

And numbers can get mixed up.

[She chuckled at his bewildered expression. He didn't expect well of her obviously.]

Gigas, or Gigans, are a race where I'm from. Giant beings who go into berserk states and have an extensive bloody history with the kingdom. It doesn't take much to set them off, or anything at all really.

[Shinji is, similarly, spending a good deal of his time wandering about the training ground. While he's not unfamiliar with how everything is run, he still feels a bit lost considering he's managed to slip away from the one person who is really gung-ho about getting him to actually do any training. Like, what's he supposed to do now...?

People watching was always a good choice, right? And there's something that catches his eye about the boy who seemed to have failed to dress for the weather. It probably had to do with those patches on his jacket. It's a mild, passing curiosity, certainly nothing too deep, but something he could easily be caught staring from.]

....you have a lot to learn.

[Mostly because he has his own issues with being a soldier. But airing them or even talking about them isn't ever going to happen.]

Exactly. Even if you're successful only one out of ten times, you're still moving forward.

[What the- Eren instinctively takes a step back, half fearing that she would attempt to tackle him like an over-eager puppy otherwise.]

Uh, thanks? [Help? What else is he supposed to say to something like that? It is his standard uniform which admittedly looks neat in his opinion as well but still... Okay, concentrate on answering her question first.]

It is, just a little. [He stares at her for a moment, finally realizing what 'just in overalls' might mean and at the same time getting distracted by her hair color and her foreign features.] Aren't you hot from running around like that?

[Okay, that was weird. But, it's best not to ask further so she gives a bow in return.]

Is that so? Congratulations, then.

[Still kind of eyeballing that uniform, yup.]

...pardon for asking, but what other clothes do you have?

[All that's left is Snake standing up and tossing the box to the side.]

How did your mission go? [He remembered when Eric didn't really care for being a weapon and such.]

Oh, right! The people from the city fighting with the guests! That's right, I almost forgot about that... it sounds pretty bad. That only makes things worse. I wish they understood that it's difficult enough to deal with the problems with the witches. Fighting against each other and the people trying to help you doesn't do anything good.

[A heavy sigh at that. Almost makes Chopper want to stay in his shady spot forever. Boo to you, heat.]

I guess so... I've been in a desert before for a long time, so it's not like I've never been through this before, but it's still a pain. I'm not meant for hot temperatures, only the cold. That's what my fur is best for, and I definitely can't take it off.

[Chopper pauses, blinking at Kanji in confusion. What an odd request.] Touch it? You mean my fur? ...um, okay?

[Chopper takes a jittery step back as she hisses, mumbling something about not being a shrimp before he approaches her again slowly.]

So... can I try some? I don't have any money yet, but.. but if you really wanna prove that your cake is the best, you should have free samples, right? So that people can try it out!

[wildest]

[He has to hold back a snicker at that bird trotting about on her head like it's his own personal pooch perch, but Kotetsu soon enough finds himself distracted by the sight of her fur almost glimmering in the sun, like dew on a leaf shining brightly on an early morning after a brief rain shower.

Kotetsu props his elbow atop his knee and tucks his chin on top of his palm, smiling almost knowingly at Amaterasu.]

I guess not, huh? There'd be no reason that the goddess of the sun would have a problem with this weather.

[After a heavy sigh, Kotetsu seems to lose that dreary look on his face and he nods.]

Got it, thanks. It actually means a lot to me if he can join the Watch again. I know he wants to try really hard to move on and try to live normally like he did before, it's just kinda hard with his head not being at a hundred percent. But I'm sure he'll get better and he'd be a big help with the Watch.

...and, I know this might be a little too much to ask for at the moment, but if it's possible at all, I'd like for him to be assigned to my district.

[He nods, feeling that he mostly agrees with Cloud.] Keep on fighting, can't run away or give up. Try to ensure that those things don't happen again.
