Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 24th.

[Hades has no reason to show up at the Watch-designated area which makes it only natural for him that he would bend over Auron's shoulder there one fine day all out of the blue.]

[Hades waits until everybody else is gone before he finally approaches her.]

'It would be better to get them to the hospital immediately to be 'repaired'?' [He sounds amused as he echoes her earlier words.]

You seem disconcerted.

[Hades has been watching for a while now before he spoke up. For how long? He doesn't know because his sense of time is bad.]

[She perked up at his voice and she smiled widely]

Hades! Yeah, that sounded a little weird, didn't it? Internal bleeding needs to be treated through surgery so it is repairing veins and such by hand.

[But she moves around the booth for a moment] Are you feeling better then?

[She chuckled]

That's an adequate description. [But this is getting so far off topic.] So, what kind of Weapon are you?

This might be a war but how many of these people are soldiers? Once you go down that path, there's no turning back so it might just be better to let them keep their humanity and let their bonds pick up on the slack from having no professionalism.

[Thankfully, there's no falling through since Snake's head is kind of supporting the weight. But it also makes him groan because this totally wasn't the point of the set up.]

[a nod] Somehow, I think you fighting with your fists suits you the most. I can't really picture anything else for you. That said though, since you've been fighting like that for a while now...

[She puts her hands together, a bit sheepish.] Would you mind sparring with me for a bit, hand-to-hand? Or maybe give me a few pointers? Since your weapon form is a brass knuckle, I figure it'd be good to know how to actually throw a punch and all.

[He tried to think where any insinuation for homosexuality came in, but he gave up quickly. It just didn't interest him at all and besides, it seemed like the two men weren't about to kill each other. He knew Sephiroth wouldn't at least, not if he was around.]

Sephiroth is a Deathscythe. Not to dismiss your strength, but I doubt you could wield him even if he'd let you.

[Which his partner was clearly not inclined to do. His fingers stroked down the singing blade, feeling the feather etching that had appeared not that long ago.]

You can't wield my Weapon. However, if you find someone willing to go on mission, we would guarantee your success and go with you occasionally.

[He waits for the end of her lesson before he moves to take her aside]

Rosalia, Auron's indicated a concern about the lack of field medics we have for the Watch, and given that we've just lost another, I'm certainly inclined to agree with him. It's only a matter of time before field patrols sustain heavy injuries too far from a clinic..

We believe it would be best if all members of the Watch learned First Aid, and so I've come to ask if you wouldn't mind coming over to HQ to teach a few lessons sometime.

[Neji frowns, considering that]

I'm sure your assessment is accurate.. You can tell him he's free to apply, or come in for an interview at any time during normal operation hours. I'd like to have him back on the field, but first we just need to make sure.

[The term caused a slender brow to rise up before they subtly narrowed. The thought that he would fraternize with such an irritating insect went well beyond his sensibilities.]

[Slowly his gaze shifted away from his hidden prey to land on the back of his Meister. He felt the way that those fingers ran along the length of his blade in that familiar way, but it was the words that the blonde spoke that had caught his attention. It was, perhaps, the first time Cloud had ever spoken in such a way.]

You speak with many liberties, Cloud, as to whether I would be willing to even aid this parasite.

[He would though, even if it wasn't for that purpose but only to protect his Meister. Cloud knew him far too well now, after all.]

[Rosalia is surprised to see Neji come forward directly and follows him to the side. Seems like he wants to keep it hush hush so she leans closer so he doesn't have to speak as loud.]

... Teach lessons at the Watch? I can, but wouldn't you want Dr. Holiday or maybe Lezard instead? They probably have more experience handling injuries on mission.

[Neji shrugged, glancing around briefly for either of the mentioned individuals]

I could ask them if you'd prefer not to, but I don't know either of them well. I know you've been instructing various medical procedures here for some time and been under your care myself however, so I know you're certainly capable.

[Due to Lezard's injuries, he isn't present. As for Dr. Holiday, she's usually not there or back at the clinic. And it's true she managed to learn some things on her own and from her brother while he was present.]

You... wouldn't get in trouble from having someone who isn't actually a doctor teaching?

[His face darkens into a scowl as he pouts at the insinuation that soldiers don't have their humanity anymore.]

Soldiers are still humans. We bleed, dream and die like every other human too. When your enemy [he almost says 'titans'] will come to crush you it won't stop to marvel at how good your relationship with another is. Thinking that it'll make a difference where things count is deluding yourself.

[There is a certain note of bitterness in his voice, but he also states it as a matter of fact. The world isn't such a nice place.]

Ahh, is that so?

[She sighs and shakes her head, though it's not directed towards him.]

That's understandable. But, it's also not a good mindset if one has to think that failing is bad. In fact, it can be a good lesson. [And she'll reach over to pat him on the shoulder.] It can be hard to let go of that mindset, but I assure you, it's okay. Besides, we're both still alive, so that just means we'll have to be more careful and plan better next time.

[Hamel doesn't know what a deathscythe is because he didn't pay attention during that part of the video. He rolls his eyes at Cloud dismissively.]

Right. Look swords are all over here, if I gotta use one like this personality reject, I'll get bored of him halfway through anyway. You can keep your superspecial friend.

[Wait, is this guy trying to hone in on his reward money? Do they have to split it if they go on a mission together? He narrows his eyes suspiciously.]

I'm not sharing any rewards. I need the money. That's the whole point.

[Sorry Sephiroth, he's kind of ignoring what you're saying now, Cloud is actually carrying on conversation so he's pretty much got Hamel's full attention.]

[It was clear this guy had no idea what a Deathscythe Weapon was, but he wasn't about to inform him either. There was no point when priorities were different.]

I doubt your souls would be able to resonate, which is the whole point. If you can't find a soul to work with you, the Weapon will burn you or be too heavy to wield. He is very special, yes.

[He raised an eyebrow at the suspicion as his fingers continued to play over the blade in his hand.]

Rewards are split if the mission is hard enough. Besides, if the money means that much to you, you can have my share as well. Double the profit for you.

[He knew Sephiroth would be displeased, but his Weapon would follow him into a mission anyway, perhaps just to exchange words with this man. He was interested if they would try to battle again.]

[He felt the muscles along his shoulders tense at the words that fool spoke, and it was only the continued touch against his blade that kept him where he was.

Eyes narrowed, Sephiroth fell back into silence while it appeared that Cloud was apparently content with making friends with any pathetic insect in sight.]

[ooc: feel free to skip Seph unless he's spoken to! He'll just grumpily stand there silently while they talk :3 ]

[Hamel shrugs a little. Amazingly so far no one has burned him or been too heavy (well Nanami had been kinda heavy when they started but they figured it out). He'd only tried out two people though. It's still a miracle that none of that has happend. In Hamel's mind he thinks it's because he's awesome and he's not even remotely worried. Hamel is kind of an 'in the moment' guy.]

[Hamel's ears perk.]

You'd give me the cash?

[His whole attitude seems to shift from sullen annoyance to cheerful and polite in a fraction of a second.]

Well! I'd be happy to let you work with me!

[ponders for a minute until her eyes light up]
