Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on March 29th.

Soul Perception: If someone wants to find out more about their soul, what they are, and what they may potentially do. Overseen by Hades.
Partner Training: Guidance on how to work as partners. Taught by Spirit Albarn; Eve and Keroro
Weapons Handling Training: How to handle weapons and Weapons. Taught by Death the Kid with Liz and Patty.
Shooting Range: How to shoot. Taught by Naoto Shirogane, Maes Hughes.
Meister Ability Helpers: Learning what your meister ability is and how to use it. Taught by Kanji Tatsumi, Miles Edgeworth.
Finding a Partner: An area for unpartnered Weapons and Meisters to mingle in. Overseen by
Meditation: This month's novelty class is on focus and meditating. Taught by Hyuuga Neji.
Medics: A place for the medics to linger, recruit, and help anyone that's gotten hurt. Helping out are CR-S01, Rosalia Rossellini.
Watch: A place for the watch members to linger, recruit, and train. Interested observers welcome!
SEES: A place for the SEES members linger, recruit, and relax.
Hug Brigade: Offering encouragement through hugs. Staffed by Maes Hughes, Maito Gai.

Ah, so you were a natural then, I take? Well, that would certainly explain why you're instructing here. [Hughes chuckles.] Assuming you age the same way as people from my world, I'd never picked up a gun until I was around the age you are now.

No, it's a family custom when one begins their training.

Any child would have initial difficulty using a gun. If not aiming, then pulling the trigger.

And recoil, too. Mm. Yeah, you're right. I suppose I was assuming you may have started with something simpler like a spud gun or pellet gun first.

Do you enjoy doing what you do? Solving cases and shooting guns and such. [He has to wonder since it seems the lifestyle was forced on Naoto.]

I rarely use my gun, but I do enjoy solving cases. The gun is to serve as self-defense and injury dealt is meant to be non-lethal.

Ah. A well meaning detective! I like that! Unfortunately, in my own case, though I would have preferred that to be the situation, if I had encountered anyone I would have had to draw my weapon on back home, I would likely have had no choice but to shoot to kill. However, it was likely due to the type of cases I worked, so I guess choosing not to switch divisions was my own fault. [Though if he had, he would not have been able to help Roy.]

[Hm, cases where they had no choice, but to kill should the situation come to it. Not a simple police detective. The build and when he began to handle a gun say something else.]

[Hughes chuckled.] Brilliantly deduced, though the military was more or less the government in my country, so you could consider my position governmental as well.

I see... There tends to be little negotiation in such governance.

Hehe. Unfortunately, no. [Hughes smiles sheepishly.] It wasn't that bad, though. For the average citizen, anyway.

Then I worry about your well being and Mustang-san's for not being average citizens.

[She shakes her head] You probably came over not expecting to dwell into this subject. I will refrain from further inquiry and investigation for now lest you wish to continue; otherwise, feel free to change the subject.

Hehe. Well, honestly, it's already a bit too late for me. Roy on the other hand... [Hughes shrugs.] It's fine. I don't really mind, actually. If you'd prefer we switch a subject, that'd be all right, though.

[... Mental note: talking to a dead man.]

It's your decision really. I'm attempting to better my social skills still, but unfortunately, I fall back into interrogations and tend to come across as... unsympathetic.

[Hughes laughs shortly.]

Well, I don't know how well I could help your social skills since I'm one of the most obliging when it comes to conversation. I suppose in general, it'd be inappropriate to discuss that stuff, though. At least, a lot of people don't like touching politics because things can get heated fairly quickly.

Let's see...what's a better topic... [Hughes taps his chin lightly.] Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

Indeed. I'd rather avoid such discussions myself.

Hobbies... reading and mechanics.

Reading? What genre? Mystery? [He chuckles faintly.]

Mystery, non-fiction... there have been a few science fiction novels... [More than.]

Ah, that's true. It's a sensitive issue especially because there are so many people from so many different places.

Science fiction, huh? I've read a few of those myself. I don't suppose the science fiction in my world quite matches that of what's in this world though. Is the technology where you're from similar to the technology here?

That and the country we are currently located in tends to be a mixing pot of ideas for various reasons.

It is. However, overall, it's a few years behind. The communicator is actually the closest thing to my world's current technology.

Ah. Yeah, that's right. I remember reading a little on that. [Not a lot, though.]

I suppose a full history lesson isn't entirely necessary...
