Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on June 29th.

[Honestly, Chihiro has no idea what to do. So instead of really approaching anyone, the programmer winds up standing around awkwardly and just kind of... people-watching. There's so many different types of people here!]

[ Josuke's going all over the place to train, but even so, after a while he does notice Chihiro standing there and staring. At first he doesn't think much of it, but when he later notices it again, he decides to at least go over and say hi - that's only the normal thing to do, right? ]

Yo! You just watchin' or are you waiting for something?

[Oh no, that is definitely a very tall, very big guy approaching Chihiro. And wow, he looks a lot like Mondo?? W-weird...]

O-oh! S-sorry, I... I don't know what to do... S-so I thought I'd watch a little...

[Or only watch. Whatever.]

Hey, it's fine! [ He grins, apparently unconcerned with having been watched. ]

This place is for training and all though, I guess.. or do you not wanna do that kinda shit? I guess it's not everyone's thing, huh! [ Especially not with how tiny Chihiro is and all.. ]

No, no! I want to train, I'm just... k-kind of afraid of it...?

[ Oh no, don't make that face, Chihiro.. all big guys with pompadours are weak to it-- or rather, Josuke doesn't really know how to deal with it, so his smile is quickly replaced by something more awkward. ]

Wha-- n.. no, don't look like that! It's okay if you're afraid of it, that just means that.. uh.. you gotta start with little steps!

[Chihiro sniffles softly and then looks up at Josuke with big, hopeful eyes.]

D-do you really think I can do it? Even though I'm j-just standing here and watching right now?

[pishirogane]

[The more timid, the more gullible they may be. Kanji's getting wise on the crow and Chihiro seems-- Naoto scratches beneath Poe's beak, making the crow tilt his head and look elsewhere. At least the rottweiler seems a little more friendly in its approach and certainly not thinking about tricking Chihiro out of anything.]

Fujisaki-san, correct?

[Suddenly, Chihiro is being approached by a dog and a familiar face! He squats down, holding his skirt in place with one hand and offering his other to the rottweiler.]

Y-yes, that's me! [He smiles up at Naoto.] And your name was... Shirogane-kun, yes?

[pishirogane]

[His hand is sniffed over several times before the rottweiler licks... over and over.]

Watson... [He whines a bit, but sits.] Yes, that's correct.

[Chihiro winds up giggling at the enthusiastic licking.]

You have a very nice dog, Shirogane-kun! Um... what are you up to?

[AWKWARD BABY.]

We're doing our best. [Chihiro probably has no idea who Naoto is referring to]

Presently, I'm taking Watson for a walk. Later, I may return to my post at the shooting range or conclude by training in seclusion.

[Well that was a little... oddly phrased, wasn't it. Chihiro blinks up at Naoto a little.]

'We'...? Are you training with your pets? ['cause wow, that'd be cute.]

[Hey, Chihiro. Are you thirsty because you're suddenly getting a nice cold bottle of water passed over to you.]

Here, Fujisaki. [Oh man it looks like Mondo's been out and about doing some training on his own. In his uniform. Wow Mondo.]

Ah!!

[...well, you managed to catch him off guard and he startles away for a moment before quickly taking the bottle of water, way too eagerly, as if he's trying to pretend he wasn't scared.]

Th-thank you, Oowada-kun!

[Time to drink most of this bottle of water to hide the nerves oops.]

[Okay come on he isn't dumb enough to not pick up on the fact that he sort of startled Chihiro at least. He won't draw attention to it, though, and instead opts to open up his own bottle of water.]

Have you been doing much training today...? [He doesn't sound accusatory or nosy, just curious.]

[Chihiro chokes a little on the water and forces himself to stop drinking it so fast, welp.]

A-ah, um. N-no, I haven't... been training at all...

[DISHEARTENED]

[A part of him really wants to offer to help him train but HA HA we know how that went last time it happened.]

H-hey, it's fine, no need to choke or anything over it...! And don't look so disappointed with yourself. It's fine to take some time off every once in a while.

In fact, this particular spot is where he usually finds himself sitting, and while he doesn't have any real problem with sharing the spot, he doesn't just want to... sneak up on this girl. Ha ha sorry Churro]

Ah, um, excuse me. [There. At least now he's made his presence known.]

[Holy crap! Chihiro knows that voice!!! He spins around to face Shinji, excitement lighting his face ---

And then he frowns, and looks around as if there has to have been someone other than Shinji right there...]

...Are... are you talking to me...?

[Whoa! That sudden enthusiasm followed so closely by that terribly disappointing look is really jarring, all he wanted to do was make sure he wasn't accidentally going to scare this person.]

S-sorry...! I just didn't want to startle you or anything... [Now he's not so sure if he should have opened his mouth at all, oh man.]

[It's so weird! This guy really does sound like Naegi, but... it's not Naegi... Then again, Chihiro's pretty glad Naegi isn't dead, so...]

N-no, it's okay! I'm sorry, I just... thought you were someone else at first.
