Pirate hunting...? [Well, that sounds interesting! It's probably obvious that her curiosity is grabbed by that comment, but... Right. Focus on the task at hand. For now.]

I was proficient with a spear back home, so if you'd like to try resonating, I can give you any help you need.

Yeah, they were all over the Caribbean, pillaging and plundering. People who had problems with them hired me to hunt them down.

Okay. Let's see this spear. [She's still not crazy about the hand holding thing but it seems the only way to get a Weapon around here so she extends her hand.]

[A world that had a legitimate enough pirate problem that warranted a hunter's presence must have been exciting, she thinks.

Kyoko reaches out her own hand, though before she reaches Morgan's, she manages to swiftly shift to her Weapon form, leaving the spear itself to fall gently into the Meister's palm.]

[Morgan catches the spear in a gloved hand, lifts it to test the weight and examine it. But she's far from an expert in such weapons and can't tell how good it is as far as spears go.]

So, what's the best way to wield this thing? Can it be done with one hand?

[Well, this seemed to be working well enough so far!]

It can be, but it's normally more effective as a two-handed weapon. The length makes it strange to balance in just one hand unless there's already a lot of momentum behind it.

Yeah, I figured. I'm used to shorter one-handed Weapons. Those work out more easily with my fighting style.

[She frowns a bit. Still, she'll give it a try. She moves to put her other hand on the spear, trying to get a sense of what's the best way to hold it.]
