Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on Friday, August 21st.

It's a lot better than the state my world was in when I left. [He grimaces a little at the thought, but not wanting to go into detail, he continues speaking.] Whether or not someone thinks it's worth protecting is pretty subjective, though.

I guess that's true! But then, I always believe that the innocent are worth protecting, and I definitely don't think that's subjective at all!

It's very nice! And I'm happy to be in a world where I'm allowed to speak openly to people and make new friends.

It must seem awful that I'm so pleased about a world at war, but I really can't help myself.

It's not that strange. [He had some awfully similar feelings about the city, himself. Maybe not because of the fact that it seemed to facilitate being outgoing, but still.] The world I came from was... not in any better shape than here. It's a nice change of pace.
