EVENT: Retake the City
Characters: Every who signed up to retake the city
Location: Death City
Rating: PG
Time: July 4th
Description: There are Kishin eggs in the city. Like, everywhere. They've pretty much taken over and we can't have that, now can we?
Early in the morning, the sandstorm finally began to fade. By noon, it was gone completely, leaving behind far too much sand for comfort. The city is not in the best shape, having taken damage from the elements as well as the Kishin Eggs that are crawling all over the place, who seem to have made this place a new home.
They could move under the sand (and were quite fast when they did) and the fact that apart from their mouth the rest of their orifices was quite small it's clear that they were built to move like that. There's also the pesky fact that the city has buildings and alley ways they can hide in. The fact that Death City is layered like a cake is also a problem as it creates a lot of place for an enemy to jump down and ambush unsuspecting victims.
Of course, it's easy enough to repay in kind.
Either way, the familiar streets of Death City is now a battleground and the objective? Take back the city.

Would be glad to practice. Have found it easier to resonate in emergency, but suspect fine control would only come with work.
Was relieved that he didn't seem to sense any more of the sand monsters nearby once they were inside.
Think are in the clear, if you want to remove so can change back to usual hardware.
Would be decidedly awkward if lost hold on Weapon form while goggles were still on Hamel's face.

"Yeah, I don't have much patience but I figure I go to the trainings, might as well train occasionally."
He scuttled over to a pillar in the corner and flipped his hand off, yanking the goggles off as quick as possible before slapping his hat back down. Then peeked around the corner to make sure no one had seen. Really there were a buncha people around with horns but they called themselves trolls or something. So he still wasn't sure how well a demon would go over in this place. Even a halfblood.
"Should I just uh... set you on the ground or something?" He held the goggles out looking at them curiously.

It didn't need to make a lot of sense for the compliment to be clear.
Psii noticed Hamel dealt with his hat very quickly again, as if wanting to leave head uncovered for shortest amount of time possible. Felt flicker of something through resonance, but couldn't tell exactly what emotion was, or what it was connected to.
On floor is fine. Do you not like to remove hat?

Setting Psii on the floor he stepped back, looking down at the goggles still. "Eh? Oh yeah. Don't like to take it off." And Psii, if he was paying attention might get a flash of fear, or worry. Maybe even memory sounds of an angry crowd or images of a pile of bodies before that disappears replaced by curiosity at watching Psii change back. Hamel had a very short attention span and he hadn't had a lot of time to see the person he was working with. The Kishin eggs had been a little too distracting.

"Did something happen because of it?"
Seemed a strange possibility. On other prong, was no more strange than Alternia must have seemed to most humans.

He stuck out his hand. "So hey, you don't totally suck as a weapon, we should go do that again sometime." Hamel, master of the backhanded compliment.

Blinked at Hamel's hand for moment before remembering human custom and shaking it. "Am glad to hear it. You are acceptable Meister, as well." He gave a little smile.
"Go to morning training most days. Would be willing to meet up there. Also, thank you for helping today."
no subject
He looked around. "See you at the next morning training then."
And with that he turned moving toward the elevators. Hopefully they were on because he didn't feel like trucking it up so many flights of stairs.
