EVENT: Retake the City
Characters: Every who signed up to retake the city
Location: Death City
Rating: PG
Time: July 4th
Description: There are Kishin eggs in the city. Like, everywhere. They've pretty much taken over and we can't have that, now can we?
Early in the morning, the sandstorm finally began to fade. By noon, it was gone completely, leaving behind far too much sand for comfort. The city is not in the best shape, having taken damage from the elements as well as the Kishin Eggs that are crawling all over the place, who seem to have made this place a new home.
They could move under the sand (and were quite fast when they did) and the fact that apart from their mouth the rest of their orifices was quite small it's clear that they were built to move like that. There's also the pesky fact that the city has buildings and alley ways they can hide in. The fact that Death City is layered like a cake is also a problem as it creates a lot of place for an enemy to jump down and ambush unsuspecting victims.
Of course, it's easy enough to repay in kind.
Either way, the familiar streets of Death City is now a battleground and the objective? Take back the city.

And then she suddenly ducked, her combat senses picking up the attack from the kishin egg she'd left when her and Sion started arguing. The creature sailed over her and its landing caused the pile of poo to scatter. Akiha barely managing to get her arms (and the staff in hand) up to shield her face from it.
Both of them now with that stuff on them, Akiha growled and threw the staff at the egg. The force of the impact stunned the kishin egg and then Akiha was on it. Grabbing the staff, she hit the egg in the head over and over and over again, yelling at it over how long it was going to take to clean all that off them.
...she was still hitting it well after it had died and the soul rose from it.]

[As if that needed to be repeated. Instead, she was just getting tired of the dull noise of the staff hitting and being coated in more and more blood.]

...at least it just bounced off it and continued to float there.
The meister picked herself off and sat down with her back against the wall a bit away from the mess and cradled the staff in the crook of her arm, letting it rest against her shoulder. Eyes closed, she tried to calm down.]

[Said once she is a bit more settled. But the danger there is pretty obvious.]

[So not taking the blame for this.]

They both needed to calm down, but if Sion was expecting an apology, she was dreaming.]
