EVENT: Retake the City
Characters: Every who signed up to retake the city
Location: Death City
Rating: PG
Time: July 4th
Description: There are Kishin eggs in the city. Like, everywhere. They've pretty much taken over and we can't have that, now can we?
Early in the morning, the sandstorm finally began to fade. By noon, it was gone completely, leaving behind far too much sand for comfort. The city is not in the best shape, having taken damage from the elements as well as the Kishin Eggs that are crawling all over the place, who seem to have made this place a new home.
They could move under the sand (and were quite fast when they did) and the fact that apart from their mouth the rest of their orifices was quite small it's clear that they were built to move like that. There's also the pesky fact that the city has buildings and alley ways they can hide in. The fact that Death City is layered like a cake is also a problem as it creates a lot of place for an enemy to jump down and ambush unsuspecting victims.
Of course, it's easy enough to repay in kind.
Either way, the familiar streets of Death City is now a battleground and the objective? Take back the city.

when he finally comes to he sits up slowly and rubs his eyes.] .....Takuto?
no subject
Still here, sleepyhead.
[He's going to be kind for about ten more seconds before he turns to teasing, so enjoy it while you can.]

You don't even remember going through the door, do you.
no subject
I don't even remember making it to the complex.
no subject
[Obviously.]
no subject
I'm sure I would have remembered that conversation.
no subject
[All he'll see is a crease on his face from Takuto's pants, but he's hoping Sugata thinks he drew on him.]
no subject
Oh.... real funny.
no subject
You seemed to sleep pretty well.

I made it through everything alright. Ryou's in the hospital, though.

[He shakes his head and sighs. He doesn't have to tell Sugata about what's likely to be the cause of a weapon not being in weapon form.]

[he knew the other girl didn't have much training to rely off of. so he can only imagine how things might have went.]

I was pretty surprised to see your cat, though. I guess he and Firecracker got bored staying indoors?
no subject
[pointed look at jasper.] Yes he.... got the slip on me when I opened the door to the hall to give Firecracker his daily walk. He ran, so of course Firecracker had to run after him too. Thank you for finding him. I don't think I would have been able to make it back for him after how long it took me to find Firecracker.
no subject
Don't worry about it. I'm glad you went to look for my dog after I ended up pushing him onto you during the storm. He seems no worse for wear.
[He nudges the dog with his toe, and Firecracker rolls over in his sleep, huffing contentedly as he snuggled back up to the carpet.]
