EVENT: Retake the City

Description: There are Kishin eggs in the city. Like, everywhere. They've pretty much taken over and we can't have that, now can we?



Early in the morning, the sandstorm finally began to fade. By noon, it was gone completely, leaving behind far too much sand for comfort. The city is not in the best shape, having taken damage from the elements as well as the Kishin Eggs that are crawling all over the place, who seem to have made this place a new home.

They could move under the sand (and were quite fast when they did) and the fact that apart from their mouth the rest of their orifices was quite small it's clear that they were built to move like that. There's also the pesky fact that the city has buildings and alley ways they can hide in. The fact that Death City is layered like a cake is also a problem as it creates a lot of place for an enemy to jump down and ambush unsuspecting victims.

Of course, it's easy enough to repay in kind.

Either way, the familiar streets of Death City is now a battleground and the objective? Take back the city.

[Bounding down from her position above, the nurse approached Akiha and Sion, staring down at her for a moment. Why was everyone around here so short? Her eyes didn't stay on the girls long, looking past and spotting the eggs. All of them were sand sharks.]

Akiha Tohno? [Valentine was still holding her Weapon, but she gave Sugata a nudge. He could transform back for a second... might help him stay awake.]

[he wasn't exactly sure what to say since he wasn't really familiar with either two. but he'll give them both polite nods after he transforms back into his regular form.]

[Akiha glanced up as the... oh, it's that shameless nurse, showed up along with a partner. It was about time someone else showed up and from the question, she assumed this pair was directed to her by Auron.]

I am she, and this is my partner, Sion Eltnam Atlasia.

[She pointed toward the kishin eggs.] Those four have been circling this area for the last few minutes. We may have caught them when they're resting.

[Sion...didn't know the other two at all. She'd have to exercise a little caution. Not only because she didn't think they could be entirely trusted (because being suspicious of everyone was a thing) but because who knew how they fought. Getting in the way of each other would certainly be a problem.]

Resting...

[There's only a slight nod to Sion before she's surveying the sharks again, her eye narrowed. If they were resting in a group, she spotted one in particular. It wasn't much, but a small red cut right there near the dorsal going back and arcing down.]

It's come here to fester then. We're going in... I'll try to leave two to you and your partner.

[he looks at valentine, nods, and then transforms back into his weapon form. the faster they got through this, the faster he could find his friend's dog and go pass out in his bed.]

[Akiha's jaw set at that statement but then she smirked a little, settling her goggles back in place.]

Yes, try.

[She held out her hand to Sion, eyes watching the kishin eggs again.]

[Sion took Akiha's hand and transformed into a staff. The upcoming fight didn't look too difficult so she'd leave decision making to Akiha. Sion doubted there'd be any need to use her ability.]

[Healthy competition gets people to move instead of loaf around waiting for support they probably don't need. The moment Sugata was in her hand, she was off. Again, abilities mostly unhindered by BREW gives her an advantage. Fast with light steps, she catches the eggs' delayed attention, but she's already on the shark she wants particularly.]

[Scythe wounds are still bleeding and their are signs that they've been attempting to heal. Well, that Weapon became more interesting, but Sugata was fine for the fillet. She'd prefer the under belly, but for now, she grabs the dorsal fin and resumes her earlier day's incision.]

[this was going to take some getting used to, but hey he's not going to complain. if he can help aid then he'll do what he can. especially if lives are at stake.]
