EVENT: Retake the City

Description: There are Kishin eggs in the city. Like, everywhere. They've pretty much taken over and we can't have that, now can we?



Early in the morning, the sandstorm finally began to fade. By noon, it was gone completely, leaving behind far too much sand for comfort. The city is not in the best shape, having taken damage from the elements as well as the Kishin Eggs that are crawling all over the place, who seem to have made this place a new home.

They could move under the sand (and were quite fast when they did) and the fact that apart from their mouth the rest of their orifices was quite small it's clear that they were built to move like that. There's also the pesky fact that the city has buildings and alley ways they can hide in. The fact that Death City is layered like a cake is also a problem as it creates a lot of place for an enemy to jump down and ambush unsuspecting victims.

Of course, it's easy enough to repay in kind.

Either way, the familiar streets of Death City is now a battleground and the objective? Take back the city.

Condesce + Abel || All over || Closed

[ the troll left the shelter to look for her partner, but he is no where to be found. She doesn't seem to be able to send any message to his communicator and Winters hasn't tried to contact her either. Frustrated, the Condesce walks through the city with sand getting in her hair, trying to make her way to her apartment and bitch at Winters (or to find him gone, since he left the city without she even realizing due to the sandstorm).

The thing is, there are kishin eggs, so she actually would prefer to be killing them than to bother with Winters, but she doesn't have a weapon.

Hissing, she keeps walking fast through the streets ]

Imma krill that sucka, fuck!

[As he'd thought, working with someone else just wasn't what it was said to be. He'd tried it on their terms only to appease those keeping him from leaving the Shelter, but now this was on his own.

Perhaps confronting a Kishin Egg wasn't the wisest move, but he'd prove with his own blades that he was more than a match for them. A borrowed katana in his good hand and gauntlet shifted into a partial form that had surprised him, he paced in front of a particularly large mound of sand, cursing at it, glancing at it, then resumed pacing]

Don't think I'm playing into your game, but once you've come out of hiding, I'll be sure to sever every one of your limbs, and watch you slither pathetically while I follow along, waiting until the last-

[Whether incensed by his threats or not, the sand-shark Kishin Egg burst out of the sand and perhaps inappropriately, Albel cracked a smile, hunkering down into a ready stance even as it rushed toward him with an open maw]

[ The troll has grabbed her hair by now (an attempt to walk faster, though it wasn't the hair's problem, it was the sand) and walked through the streets grumbling and muttering curses. However, a voice filled with threats eventually manages to stop her and she curiously heads towards it, to find Abel with a katana.

Eh, some sucker with a wea-

wait a moment.

Her pink eyes notice the other arm partially shifted. That person is a weapon and he is fighting the kishin by himself.

Ahaha. Idiot.

But actually, this is good! Because she IS looking for a weapon and this guy seems perfect right now. She lets him finish his attack first simply to see what he can do, before she comes closer and yet keeping a safe distance between herself and the enemy ]
