[Event Log] Mission #202 - Tegucigalpa

Description: It's an evacuation! Get people out of there and keep the kishin eggs off of them!



The resort city of Tegus isn't doing so well. You can see the relief in the eyes of the local police when they see help has arrived, help that can actually deal with the strange monsters raising hell in the streets.

But nobody can rest easy yet. Even in a city of lovely as this, the kishin eggs - much less the witches - see no need to take care of the historical buildings and tourist spots, choosing instead to mark the old buildings with their claws and magic when they aren't hunting down and torturing fleeing, terrified civilians.

Help get them out of there and on their way to the safe zone- there are buses, vans and police cars under the heaviest guard waiting! When you see a witch, keep your head low and hope she didn't see you... unless you think you've got the bite to back up your bark!

[He'd stuck by Lily's side from the moment they passed through the mirror and came here. Evacuate the city... tall order. The minute he passed through and they set off, he was hearing those distressing whispers in his mind, but those were for the moment dashed when he transformed and engaged Soul Resonance. Resonating with her kept him sane... but for how long?]

'Tis no wonder they require assistance! I'm picking up over a dozen civilians hiding beneath the tables, trying to use tropical fruit as camouflage...

[He spoke at a bit of a laugh. Inappropriate? Certainly. But the madness was making him a little... giggly.]

[After trudging through damp caves and fighting giant lizards just a few days ago, Lily would have preferred a quiet day back at the shop without her annoying partner. But there were a lot of normal folks in trouble with demons on the loose in the Honduran capital and with her protective nature, the witch couldn't just ignore that.]

If that's the case, they sure as shootin' need help.

[She shook her head, noting a stack of pineapples crowned by a suspiciously black and hairy tuft of material. Undoubtedly, one of the civilians who was not as good as hiding as they thought.]

But you don't sense any demons around right now, do you?

[She approached the pineapples, intending to use her less than perfect Spanish to try to talk whoever was back there into getting on one of the waiting buses. ]

Just a pair, but neither know we're here. I've no doubt they will be around soon enough when they see a feast for them just around the bend.

[There were two he could 'see', information transmitted her way. But they weren't moving far; they were idle at the moment, possibly resting after previous attacks.]

The people here need to be gathered and mobilized, and quickly. ...Unless of course, they'd like to try a little harder to become one with the fruit.

[He would merely leave the talking to her. Though his studies in other languages are making leaps and bounds, she was the approachable person, not he.]

[Saya and Sendo][Museum][Open]

[ Saya isn't happy - not with the current situation but also due to their loss last mission. So her pride and confidence had been hit, so she is rather nervous.

Yet she won't show it.

"Get people out and keep the kishin eggs from them". She will do it.

Already in her weapon form, Saya spots the museum ]

Sendo, I think there is movement inside the building, I saw the door closing.

[She wasn't the only one lacking in confidence right now. It's not like he hadn't lost before, though. He just had never lost to a Kishin egg. It just made him want to get that much more stronger so that it would never happen again.

He shifts his attention over to the museum door.]

On it! [He rushed to the door and he cracked it open a bit so that he could the could peer inside. He put the barrel of the gun inside so Saya could see as well.]

[ Saya does peek as well. It all seemed so quiet moments ago, but...

they can't just barge in, not when there is a chance they will be attacked out of the blue ]

[ the chaos was amazing. Condesce couldn't believe what she go herself in still, but she was amazed and marveled.

Humans dying, kishin eggs spreading panic, screams soaring, the smell of blood and fear filling the air... she couldn't have asked for more. Taking a deep breathe, she gripped on Winters as she looked around. ]

Whata nice day.

[ she wouldn't save anyone. She isn't there to save.

She is there to kill. ]

[Winters matched the excitement of Condesce. If there was one thing they had in common over all, it was the thrill of being in the middle of total chaos. The fact that there was death on either side alike did not matter to him at all.

Even back in his own world, he didn't give a fuck who died and for what reason. The answer was always that somebody was too slow and got killed outright. He grinned as Condesce gripped his form.]

Hell of a nice day...the best I've seen in a long time! You find that shit to kill and make sure it's RAINING blood!

Gotcha, homie~ Gonna paint dis town red. [ she laughs, so incredibly amused and decides to follow the screams because what else is a better indicator that shit is going down that direction but people running away from it and screaming.

Some attempt to ask for Condesce's help, but she doesn't even listen, passing by them as if they don't exist, tilting her head in a condescending (get it? Condesce - Condescending? Right? 38D ) manner and her eyes find the enemy they are looking for, munching on a dead body as it drags it around. ]

[Matt and Clair][All over the city][Open]

[ Strangely, Matt is the perfect Weapon for rescue missions due to his Portals. Clair had opened a Blue Portal near the rescue site and all they have to do now is to open orange Portals all around the city to save everyone. ]

[Clair was not exactly known for being a helpful soul, but the idea of rescuing and fighting was something he could get behind. Multitasking was something of a hobby when he was in the right position for it. This Weapon form was easy enough to plan this with.]

Ready as I will ever be. Hopefully we will not run into any problems and we should end up saving practically the whole damn city!

[ neither is Matt, not really. But chaos would lead to people jumping on them and not letting them work - portals would stop that. People just had to run towards the portals and leave the pair to do their job. ]

Yeaaaaah. Let's not think about that. [ saving everyone? Matt? Yeah, he isn't a hero. He goes into battle to kill kishin eggs, but he doesn't have that helpful bone in him; people had to know how to handle themselves a bit ]

[Chika frowned as she looked around the city. Seeing all the destroyed stuff and everything in it. Well, it wasn't like it was unusual. This stuff was what the Kishin eggs did, after all. And all this time she had been back in Death City, instead of being out here thinning these things ranks.

Well, there was no use worrying about that now.]

Okay. There's a lot of them. You ready for this Zero?

[Her hand clenched, even as she wasn't holding or looking at her partner. Once he was ready he'd transform soon enough.]

Ready. If they're targeting all the evacuating people, we should defend a main thoroughfare. *With that he transforms into his Beam Saber form.*

[Amaterasu and Ghoulia][Cathedral][Closed]

[Terrified people rushing past, but her Wavelength can put them at some ease. Eggs are circling, but her fangs are snapping, unafraid despite knowing they wouldn't be enough to take them down. It's to buy time and chase them to any locations they've chosen to nest in.]

[With her this time is Ghoulia. New arrival and fresh into the fray, at least the girl had been willing to come along to see what it was like for herself. Amaterasu's paws carry them both to make up for Ghoulia's slower gait and she tracked down one of their targets to a nearby Cathedral.]

The smell's strong alright. Ready for a fight, Ghoulia?

[ Ghoulia'd been sure to remain in her Weapon form on the field. It was absolutely not a place for a slow Zombie, and she knew that better than anyone. With Amaterasu, though? Everything would work out without a problem. ]

[ Despite being new to the battlefield, her mind was quick to make up for it. She kept every detail in mind, and most of all kept a wary eye on their surroundings. Two pairs of eyes, better than one. ]

I am. [ There's no time for hesitation, only confidence. ] We can do this.

Alucard and Raidou, all over the city, open

*The first thing that struck the dhampir were the people fleeing in terror. The next thing that struck the dhampir was what the people were fleeing from.*

Raidou! Are you ready?

[It hadn't taken them long to find the enemy. The local police were desperately trying to hold the line, but they simply weren't enough, and Kishin Eggs were swarming the city. Raidou wasted no time rushing at the nearest one.]

[Raiden/Fujino | All over the city | Closed, then open to Cloud/Sephiroth later]

[What Fujino saw as they arrived in the city...well, calling it "awful" would be a complete understatement.

All the bloodshed and screaming-- she didn't know how to feel about it, yet unknowingly, her lips curved into a disgusted frown.

She turned towards Raiden, with the sense of urgency clear in her eyes.]

Raiden-san...we should hurry before any more of them get hurt.

[Raiden isn't exactly surprised by this turn of events but he still looks concerned. ]

Are you going to be alright? We just got back from a mission yesterday. I know, there wasn't much time to rest. If you think you're going to get tired I don't mind if you pull back and yeah.

We should hurry. I don't want more people to get hurt by those things.

[Rosalia | Near Safe Zones | Open]

[While citizens are escorted out on buses, Rosalia remained at the Safe Zones in order to treat emergency cases before transportation and Guests injured on the field. She's going between both Tegus and the Clinic back in Death City is the cases are bad enough]

Keep your arm elevated... Bring the next one over here please! [She wiped her brow with a towel, but wasn't about to stop. Fortunately, nothing too serious had come in yet, but that could only mean... no! She wasn't about to think about it. There was work to be done.]

[Fabiola & Bumblebee | Near the Safe Zones | Closed]

[She realized that the mobilization wasn't being done lightly, but she'd still not been prepared for what she saw upon arrival. There was violence and destruction everywhere, witches and kishin overtaking the city with little regard for anyone or anything. This wasn't just an SOS, a simple emergency situation...

This is full-scale madness on par with what she'd witnessed in Roanapur.

The familiarity was both disturbing and galvanizing- she could not let the chaos reach any further than it already had. Her hand settled against Bumblebee's leg and she looked up at him, already plotting the fastest way to higher ground so that she could provide cover for the fleeing civilians.]

Let's go.

[Bumblebee looked down to Fabiola and gave a little nod before he shifted into his weapon form around her. This mission wasn't going to be easy, he was certain that they and everyone else knew this, but he wanted them to help out as many people as they possibly could.]

[Cloud/Sephiroth/Sion/Akiha | Furthest away from safe zone | Closed]

After rescuing some people and destroying some of the kishin eggs around the fleeing tourists, Cloud and Sephiroth had agreed that they were best fitted to going deeper than most. They had no fear of the witches, though a healthy respect had been beaten in to them both, but the madness deeper forced them to be smart and not worry about civilians as much. It wasn't that they didn't care about the civilians, but there were plenty of other pairs to help them.

So, they had smashed a path deeper into the city, laying waste to kishin eggs that got in their way and forging ahead to where madness was thick and the buildings had already suffered considerable amounts of damage. They fought side-by-side, though he remained close if his partner began to lose the battle against madness and required his help.

They rested near a main intersection of the city, watching and taking a break from the fighting for a few moments. Cloud wiped his blades on an old flag to remove the blood and filth from them before he was forced and flex and rotate his right shoulder where he had been wounded in a witch battle on a different mission. He looked to his partner before looking and listening for other pairs who might be fighting in the area who might need some help.

Sephiroth was ever-present at Cloud's side as they battled, not as Meister and Weapon, but as partners. They didn't need to speak to know how to cover each other's backs and offer support, but moved with a fluid motion that complimented each and every strike they made against their opponent. It was much like watching a dance out on the battlefield, and never once did either leave an opening exposed for the enemy to reach.

They had laid waste to a large majority of the kishin egg invaders while they pushed forward. Sephiroth fought with a replicat his beloved Masamune in hand, a blade he created from his own body at the beginning of the fight, as he cut down yet another opponent.

The madness pressed down on him, and it was a feeling that continued to grow more intense the further out of the city they got. He knew well what that meant, what it was a prelude for, but he wouldn't allow for any target to get the better of either of them again. Their last battle against a Witch had resulted in a victory, but it wasn't a victory without a cost attached to it. Fortunately Cloud was fit enough to continue to battle, but the ex-General remained close to his partner in order to offer what support he could when it was needed.

He remained close to Cloud when they had finally stopped. The warrior in him didn't allow for a single moment to let his guard down, even if he knew well that Cloud was still vigilant on their surroundings. His blade was momentarily away for the moment, once again absorbed back into his body, while his sharp gaze flickered from area to area assessing each vibration occurring around him. There were moments where it still overwhelmed him, but Sephiroth had slowly been gaining control over the ability.

"We shouldn't be idle for long," Sephiroth said when he felt Cloud's gaze on him, even if his own never flickered down to regard his partner.
