Morning Training Log!

Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 27th.

[Happy whine and tail wag along with a nuzzle, Cupid got it in one guess. The goddess has been over here always looking for a Weapon. Looking up at Cupid, she cocks her head slightly. So, what Weapon was she?]

Well, I hope you can find someone! I'd offer but... I'm not sure, can you fire a bow like that?

[Because she would be very impressed if she could.]

[She tilts her head and gives something that could be a shrug. Kind of have to see the size of her bow.]

Hmmm... only one way to find out then!

[She takes a half-step back and turns into her weapon form.]

No time like the present to try, right?

[Definitely not! She gets Cupid up and onto her back, tail curling to tap against string]

Always worth trying something once.

[It's an easy enough thing to do- despite being golden, Cupid is a deceptively light bow. The touch where her string should be makes the thin stream of light appear, and her excitement is obvious. Resonating with a new Meister is always interesting.]

Just try not to aim at anything you don't want to get rid of. I haven't hit anyone I didn't mean to yet, but I don't want to see what happens if I do.

[Ah, how interesting. If she could be human, she would have a ball... but that's not the case now.]

I won't. We'll aim at targets and dummies and things that should be hit.

[It would be awesome. As it stands, Cupid's soul is an open book, and she seems to have very little issue with anything except for a little twinge of nervous excitement that keeps creeping into her consciousness from time to time.]

[Amaterasu is more or less the same. Why would there be anything for her to hide? Well, trotting around, Amaterasu has to find a suitable target... and there it is. A dummy that had been previously used for sword practice, but someone left it.]

Ready to begin.

Alright...

[She wasn't sure what she'd been expecting out of resonating with a god, but Amaterasu is surprisingly open as opposed to some of the gods she's used to dealing with- it's actually pretty refreshing.]

Just aim and pull back on the string- though fair warning, I'm pretty sure aiming me is the difficult part of my weapon form.

It's been a few centuries, but I think I know how to use a bow still...

[Her tail draws the string back, shifting her shoulders as she moves and aims. Steady...]
