Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 27th.

[have an answering, affirmative-sounding, grunt. The fist!ball goes back to swaying/moving as it had before, a little reminiscent of how the Hulk, or one of his fists, might if he was standing beside Steve, so much pent-up potential energy wanting/needing to SMASH go kinetic. And yes, standing beside you, Steve, with you - in your isolation, your staunchness, your own burning brand of ferocity. Hulk's acceptance is pure, transparent, all or nothing, but also like his nature, rather volatile. Yet just as Steve's hand is anchoring us physically, his firm-yet-giving nature is capable/doing a bit of the same, for there is a certain rapport developing, though it's still, ah, VERY green]

*Alucard gives an approving sound in his throat.* This is very good. Would it be correct to assume that you are used to rapier-like swords?

[Steve notices when the ball starts to sway again, and thankfully away from his fingers. Guess Hulk is satisfied in giving his point to him. Steve isn't about to complain about that. Besides, he's beginning to feel acceptance through the wavelength and Steve tries to amplify it.]

Wanna smash something, Hulk?

[the answer comes in the form of another throaty exhale, but this one pitched a bit higher - not trapped in the chest but escaping through a partially-opened mouth, maybe modulated by teeth yet not lips, like a smile. Any amplification Steve is trying to do or sense takes hold and increases with the resonance bump because NOW you're speaking our language]

[Steve hears the affirmation in Hulk's voice, so he looks around and spots a punching bag out in the open. It's always good to have one nearby anyway, especially during morning training. The blow will probably cause a bit of a mess, but he didn't mind cleaning it up afterward.

Gripping the handle, Steve readies himself and swings the ball at the punching bag, not really using all of his strength.]

[hulky]

[brow rises, AGAIN, eyes widening a tad - slightly taken aback, but by no means surprised] Right. [guess it depends on what tips we are talking about that imagination is still running full tilt... or is it? Stranger things have happened. MUCH stranger] How did you feel, then? After.

[hulky]

[huffy almost!chuckle] Now that's [pointed/wagged a finger loosely in Blair's direction] really not such a good idea. I'm a... mean... drunk. [the thought briefly crossed his mind of bringing up, or introducing, her to Tony. VERY briefly. A nanosecond. Bruce had already created ONE monster, he didn't want to be responsible for unleashing another]

[Stark is a handsome man too. Maybe meeting Tony will be able to distract Blair from hitting on Bruce!]

[She did her best to restrain herself from snuggling up against him]

Even just a little? What about some sushi then?~ I know lots of yummy places.

[STEVE IS ALWAYS SO PREPARED the fist!ball impacts with the bag, sending it swinging rather violently, but not really causing much damage, or at least not enough for our tastes. The flail in Steve's grasp gets resonance-slip-heavier with a noise like a growl/grunt/huff all in one. We can smell that serum know you can do better, blood half-brother Steve. Come on, get ANGRY at it]

Bored.

[He felt this way very often.]

And it was kind of cold.

[Maybe because he's resonating with Hulk or that he is normally angry when hitting punch bags, Steve starts to swing the flail with more strength, definitely not holding back as much as before.

With each strike, some anger from Steve starts to bleed into the link.]

[this discussion is not really going where Bruce expected it to, or wants it to. Analogies rarely do. They always manage to get away from you. The talk of cold reminds him of a particular trip he made, and what is boredom but just another way of saying you're tired of the hand life keeps dealing you] That happens, along the way. [he replies MORE soberly] Try not to get too [voice and gaze wander a bit, as if reaching for something, following it, or simply using the latter as an excuse to get away] discouraged... when it does. [things warm up, or you learn to be colder]

[rose to his feet, readying to move to a Blair-free new location, before she could get TOO close] Maybe not some other time.

[anger? it's a cycle that can build, can feed itself. As they step closer to becoming one in that rage the flail gets lighter and lighter, while the damage being caused to the punching bag keeps brutal pace]

[something about Sai's tone, his choice of words, sends a chill up Bruce's spine which quickly spikes into a certain heat, a heat he's learned to not try and snuff out as much as lift himself above, a heat which likely briefly shows in his eyes] Just me, [looks away and almost grumbles] apparently.

[The almost grumble earns Bruce some cheerful laughter. If there was one thing you could say about Sai (besides sadistic serial killer) it was that he really was genuinely cheerful all the time.

Some people found this fact even more worrying. At least if he had the decency to be mocking, that would show that he thought other people had value. Even if they were of less value than his own needs and wants. It would show that he acknowledged that they were anything but walking sacks of meat.]

Don't be like that.

[Steve usually has better control than this, a tight leash on his emotions, his anger. But thoughts of waking up in the future, then waking up here, being be brought into one war after another... the frustration flows into their link.

As their rage intensifies, the punching bag starts to weaken until it finally breaks, sand flying across the ground.]

[You're not escaping so easily!]

Not in the mood for sushi, huh? How about something else? I know, I'll cool a meal for you!

[Beware. She burns everything she cooks]

[Bruce meets Sai's eyes with a look that's not exactly unkind, but not kindly either. The tables in the conversation might not have necessary turned, yet they've certainly shifted, and the physicist is pretty sure he doesn't like this new arrangement. Or - quick mind sweeping back - it had existed since the start and he just hadn't noticed it, which Bruce likes even less] Like... what?

I don't have much of a preference, and Genesis' form is more of a broadsword than an actual rapier.
