[OPEN] Love Shack
Characters: OPEN
Location: Nocturne Bazaar
Rating: Gen… Maybe. Don't do anything you wouldn't tell your mother about!
Time: April 3rd, April 4th
Description: The "attraction" was quite the hit last time. Who will you find yourself shacked up with now?
The island the Bazaar sits on is certainly big, but who thought they'd be able to fit an entire river on top of it? The line for the ride is just as large as you'd think it'd be, and it's been split in two with a tall screen to prevent people in both sides from seeing the other.
The staffers operating the line don't seem to care about making it grow; they're literally pulling people unlucky enough to wander too close and shoving them in a line before they can protest. You could try to get away, but the rest of the crowd's pushing impatiently forward and before long, you're up.
You might as well just get it over with. Hopefully the company's nice.
((ooc; this log takes place over both the first day and the second day. please use the subject line indicator [ NAME | DATE | OPEN/CLOSED ] and keep in mind that during the second day, characters will likely be under the effects of growing madness!))

[And he wants to do everything. Singing out your youth can be hard work, you know.]
no subject
[yeah, he feels they have moved on enough that he can tease you about this.]

You should not be embarrassed. It is simply human nature to seek out that sort of companionship. Rather, you should be happy that you found someone you care for that shares those feelings.
[not gonna lie, there is some part of him that is a little jealous. not in a romantic sense, but...people find love, and their attention diverts to focus on their partner and a new life with them. it's the natural course of human life, but he doesn't want to be left behind, not so soon after finding friends.
it's a selfish thought, however, and he knows it, so there's no need to voice such things and ruin their happiness.]

I can't help being at least a little embarrassed!
[He crosses his arms across his chest and pouts.] Besides, whenever you say the word "embarrass" everything automatically becomes more embarrassing!
no subject
[legitimately curious here.]
no subject
[And the rule applies to this conversation, of course.]
no subject
I do not understand...

no subject
[god why can't you guys totally disconnect from your feelings to properly analyze them so you can explain them to him???]
no subject
I don't think there's any logic in this at all.
no subject
[a bit of an abrupt subject change, but he thinks he can prove his point here.]

She's... pretty, and very smart. She has a good sense of humor, and she's always been very nice. She cares a lot about other people. [He can't help but think about their date, and especially with the Tunnel of Love being in such proximity... his blush consumes his face.] Y-Yako is amazing. A-at everything.
[Of course, he's aware of how much his face is burning, and he presses his palms against his cheeks, squinting at Kaworu through his fingertips.] Wh-wh-why are you asking?
no subject
[as far as literature and the like goes, love is often portrayed as something incomprehensible and beyond definition -- and that certainly is true of the feeling itself, he thinks. after having met shinji, he doesn't think he could ever find words that would properly describe how he feels for him.
but the why is an entirely different matter. people knew what they liked about others, and even if a feeling itself was too complicated to explain, the reasons behind it shouldn't be.]
no subject
...okay so maybe I'm embarrassed for reasons I'm not saying out loud.
[What is it about conversations with Kaworu that make him want to crawl into a hole and never come out?]
no subject
...Such as?
no subject
Kaworu. I'm not saying it for a reason.
no subject
[because yako is wonderful and anyone should be happy and proud to have her, right? he generally tries to be tactful and not pry unnecessarily, but he can't help being curious.]
no subject
Kaworu. It's just not appropriate.
[And if you dare tell Yako that he's thinking inappropriate things about her all the time, then you're in big trouble.]
no subject
[oh hell now you're honestly going to make him guess based on his limited knowledge of human social rules? of course this won't end well.]
Is it sexual, then?
no subject
And then he turns, finds the nearest bench, and sits. There really is no response he can make. Just. Nope. Kaworu is completely right, of course, but still, every time Takuto tries to open his mouth from his perch on the bench, nothing comes out. He shrugs helplessly.]
no subject
after a pause that's awkward even for him, kaworu approaches the bench cautiously, stopping a foot away so as to not intrude any further.]
Takuto...?
no subject
Yes, Kaworu. Yes.
I would like to change the subject now.
no subject
...I am sorry. I did no intend to make you uncomfortable.
no subject
I know, I know, it's okay. You just seem to have a knack for doing just that, though.
[He finds a smile and pats the space next to him as an invitation.]

I think Takuto should attempt to have Kaworu sit in on when he makes Auron give him The Talk.
fffffffff kaworu knows how sex works but takuto is free to try regardless
he'll have to decide whether it's more or less embarrassing to have the talk with company
whoops late
