[OPEN] Love Shack
Characters: OPEN
Location: Nocturne Bazaar
Rating: Gen… Maybe. Don't do anything you wouldn't tell your mother about!
Time: April 3rd, April 4th
Description: The "attraction" was quite the hit last time. Who will you find yourself shacked up with now?
The island the Bazaar sits on is certainly big, but who thought they'd be able to fit an entire river on top of it? The line for the ride is just as large as you'd think it'd be, and it's been split in two with a tall screen to prevent people in both sides from seeing the other.
The staffers operating the line don't seem to care about making it grow; they're literally pulling people unlucky enough to wander too close and shoving them in a line before they can protest. You could try to get away, but the rest of the crowd's pushing impatiently forward and before long, you're up.
You might as well just get it over with. Hopefully the company's nice.
((ooc; this log takes place over both the first day and the second day. please use the subject line indicator [ NAME | DATE | OPEN/CLOSED ] and keep in mind that during the second day, characters will likely be under the effects of growing madness!))

Kaworu. I'm not saying it for a reason.
no subject
[because yako is wonderful and anyone should be happy and proud to have her, right? he generally tries to be tactful and not pry unnecessarily, but he can't help being curious.]
no subject
Kaworu. It's just not appropriate.
[And if you dare tell Yako that he's thinking inappropriate things about her all the time, then you're in big trouble.]
no subject
[oh hell now you're honestly going to make him guess based on his limited knowledge of human social rules? of course this won't end well.]
Is it sexual, then?
no subject
And then he turns, finds the nearest bench, and sits. There really is no response he can make. Just. Nope. Kaworu is completely right, of course, but still, every time Takuto tries to open his mouth from his perch on the bench, nothing comes out. He shrugs helplessly.]
no subject
after a pause that's awkward even for him, kaworu approaches the bench cautiously, stopping a foot away so as to not intrude any further.]
Takuto...?
no subject
Yes, Kaworu. Yes.
I would like to change the subject now.
no subject
...I am sorry. I did no intend to make you uncomfortable.
no subject
I know, I know, it's okay. You just seem to have a knack for doing just that, though.
[He finds a smile and pats the space next to him as an invitation.]

no subject
[He's actually pretty curious, and it's a terribly easy change of subject.] Or like your kind of people? Or just... people in general?
no subject
[and there he goes, talking about all this with the calmest smile again, almost sociopathic. but it's easier to just fall back into polite amicability than it is to be honest with humans about his feelings on the fate of his siblings.]
no subject
W-were you... close with them?
[But also... fifteen years since he was with his own kind... so maybe he was just raised as a human anyway. The answer about his siblings will probably answer the next question he wants to ask, anyway.]
no subject
...There was not really a concept of that intimacy and closeness that you Lilin associate with "family". Human emotions are much more intense and varied than what we experienced, and that allows for a closer bond.
[he can't really say how he'd felt about his siblings before taking a human form. there was a sense of comradery and kinship, and standing united against a common enemy, but he had not been particularly attached to any of them. they were just the others.
funny, that only being human had let him feel real pity and sorrow for them.]
...I did mourn them. [he can at least admit that much to takuto, after having troubled him so much.]
no subject
I'm sorry for your loss.
[And then, to try to segue his way out of this...] Is that what your people call humans? Lilin?
no subject
Mm. Lilin, the offspring of the Black Seed, Lilith.
no subject
[The subject change now seems way too sudden. It's like Kaworu started speaking another language.]
no subject
no subject
As long as I understand you well enough, I'm okay with that.
no subject
Do you understand me well enough?
no subject
Well enough.
no subject
Then you know everything you need to.
no subject
I think you're the one that needs to know more.
no subject
no subject
I can help you out, too, you know.
[And by frown we mean pout.]

I think Takuto should attempt to have Kaworu sit in on when he makes Auron give him The Talk.
fffffffff kaworu knows how sex works but takuto is free to try regardless
he'll have to decide whether it's more or less embarrassing to have the talk with company
whoops late
