Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on March 29th.

[For some reason, it's a lot easier to channel his energy around when it's on full blast. There's a growing grin on his face as he tries to, in some weird metaphorical sense, lift Bakura up beside him rather than tumble relentlessly through him. His wavelength is still uneven, but it's a lot more stable than it was before.

Also, there's a clear sense that Takuto is actually having fun. He opens his eyes and slowly opens his fingers, looking down at the d10 in his palm with a smile.]

Un! [[Bakura's 'voice' is cheerful as ever, even as he's wobbling a little in his balancing act.]] It's pretty different than I'm use to! But I think I'm getting the hang of it!

[[He just had to think of it like a game. And he could do that easily!]]

[He lifts Bakura up in front of his face, inspecting the cracked surface of the die and the 10 numbers on its surfaces. It certainly was an unusual form.]

So, how do I use you? [There's a ripple of amusement there because he has this feeling that the answer is to throw Bakura to the ground. Which is kind of unfair, but also rather funny.]

[[Unusual, but incredibly symbolic in ways Bakura didn't often (if ever) explain.]]

Just roll like with any other die! It doesn't even have to be a big roll, just enough so I can make the right number come up!

[Well, if anyone is good at understanding symbolism, it's Takuto. In fact, he often confuses metaphors and reality. Often, they're the same thing, though.

His wavelength humming along brightly, he crouches down to the ground. He's not rude enough to throw him from full height on the first go, probably because he already nearly drowned the other boy in his wavelength. He gives the die a light, experimental toss and watches and waits with total attention and curiosity.]

[[Since an attack would be no good in a place like this -- even with it not being one that would hurt a normal person as far as he knew-- Bakura focuses on landing on a 2, Shield.

... and winds up with a 3 instead, a weaker shield. Still close enough, however. Seconds later the die all by flies back up into Takuto's palm, glowing with a warm white, a clear, all but invisible shield flickering up around them.]]

'For things like an attack, you'd need to focus on where it was going, sort of like pointing, only you don't really need to point, just have the intent of one!'

[[The shield won't last very long, only 30 seconds. But with no attack to be rebuffed, that doesn't matter so much]]

[He blinks a little in surprise, closing his fingers and catching Bakura by sheer reflex. The shield is pretty neat, though, getting a grin from the meister.]

So this is a shield, then! Cool!

[Still, wielding Bakura seems like a lot of mental calculations in the midst of battle, something Takuto really doesn't do. But that doesn't mean he has to stop playing around with Bakura right now. He turns, looking around the training field for an empty-ish space.

And then he jogs over to it, and tosses Bakura to the ground with a kind of flourish, focusing his intent to attack on a sorry-looking clump of grass not too far away. His wavelength burns brighter with the intense focus.]

[[The enthusiasm is infectious and helps Bakura stabilize in their connection even more.

He intentionally aims for a 1 instead of a 0. It's just a demonstration, no point in using up the large attack for just that! Again, the instant the roll is determined, the die returns back to Takuto's palm, starting to glow brightly. Seconds later there's a beam of pure white light that barrels out, vanishing into the ground as it hits. It makes the grass sway slightly, but does no damage. Grass had no intent to judge evil, after all.]]

[Takuto's eyes grow wide as he watches the light beam towards the grass. He can't help but be reminded of his own Tau Galaxy Beam, even though he has to admit Bakura's is much smaller and a slightly different color. Still, seeing and experiencing something as nostalgic as that lifts his spirits (and his already dazzling wavelength) higher.

And then he sees the grass as the light vanishes. There's something of a drop in his tone, wavelength, and shoulders.]

Huh? It didn't do anything!

It only works against monsters and things like that... [[points out a bit sheepishly.]] Which is actually pretty helpful sometimes! It means nothing else can get hurt.

[[Which was really helpful that first time it had accidentally gone off and hit Saitou...]]

[He looks down at the die in his hand, becoming a little more thoughtful. The roaring of his wavelength dies down a little as he tries to get a better feel for Bakura's. The other boy really is gentle, especially given how his weapon form makes him only effective against this world's enemies.

A small part of him can't help but wonder what it is that gets Bakura into those moods where he makes remarks with such less-than-gentle connotations concerning Yuugi. But he obviously won't ask about that now.]

That's a really cool power. So what are the rest of your settings?

[[Oh, Takuto. If Bakura only knew what you had gotten the wrong idea on to correct it...

...though maybe it was for the best that he didn't. Just for his sanity. ]]

4 and 5 are for healing, and 6 and 7... I can't quite figure out what it does, to be honest! I know it does something, but I'm not sure how to direct it...

I'm gonna go read your app now for the weapon section...

[Takuto perks up at the challenge. Because figuring out what 6 and 7 do is a challenge. His fingers curl around Bakura again and he gets ready to roll.]

Let's try it, then! Aim for six or seven, and we'll put it at the grass again!

[There's not much time to argue, because he's already casting Bakura to the ground.]

[[He landed on 7, going for the lower powered number just to be safe. One back in Takuto's palm, the die began to glow again, For a second, there was a small blip of light in the small patch of grass, but otherwise, nothing happened.]]

Aaaa, the same as last time... There's something I'm not doing right with that one, I think!

lol the grass just got a power up or something

[Takuto frowns and then walks over to where the light had appeared and crouches down, inspecting the grass. After a moment, he pokes at it with his free hand.]

Yeah, I don't think that did anything.

[His resonance high from before is wavering, and his wavelength is starting to become unstable. He really isn't very good at controlling it at all, and he's even worse when he gets the feeling he's not doing well at it and tries to focus too hard on maintaining it.]

Yep. THIS IS WHY HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT IT DOES :D

[[Bakura tries to adjust, not quite sure if it's just disappointment or something more]]

Un... it's a tricky one to figure out! But I keep trying at it! Maybe someday I'll figure it out.

I'm still waiting for Takuto to understand how to use his meister ability.....

[Oh crap, now that he can tell it's harder for Bakura, he's going to try to push his wavelength to some kind of even level... which is going to backfire because Takuto is a person that does best relying on instinct.]

[[Aa--! Bakura can almost tell what's about to happen with the resonance... As a preventative measure he does his best to protect a warm, soothing presence, trying to get Takuto to relax. He doesn't mind carrying a burden, he's used to it.]]

[The soothing wavelength from Bakura gets his to quiet down a little, but quiet doesn't necessarily mean it's easy. Still, the question distracts him and the resonance isn't poor enough to entirely break.]

Kinda. Apparently I can attract Kishin eggs or something? [This is what the people at the meister ability help area have told him before. And he does always seem to be some kind of target for the monsters... though, his being an obvious target could be for entirely different reasons. Like his hair. Or his coat. Or his need to shout out attacks.]

But I thought he didn't separate the two~ ;)

[[Dramatic pointing did sort of grab that kinda of attention, yeah.]]

That sounds like a pretty dangerous one! Though good for when you get strong, since you can draw them away from others.

[He frowns, thinking back to the last missions he's been on. He doesn't realize his wavelength is about to spiral downwards into ever tighter circles alongside his mood.

With Ryuzaki, the Kishin egg had ignored the weapon and instead held on to Takuto, pinning him under the murky water. He tenses at the memory, which was, in some ways, the most horrifying experience of his life.

He'd never think of drowning as a peaceful way to go ever again. It had hurt, and been absolutely terrifying.]

Uh. [Sound only comes out because he's aware that Bakura said something to him and he probably expects a response. It is a dangerous ability.]

*goes to get the glitter to help!*

...Takuto-kun? Are you all right...?

you're going to need more glitter.

Y-yeah. [He shakes his head slightly.] I was just... thinking about something.

[And with something of a slam, Takuto forcefully turns the shiny part of his personality on. It's something of a habit, especially lately, and he doesn't realize what kind of effect doing something like that might have on his wavelength, and thus, the weapon in his palm. Bakura will likely either get shocked right out of resonance, or he'll be able to recognize that there's a certain part of Takuto that is in the process of getting buried under a waterfall of dazzling false happiness.]

I'm a craft store junky. I have enough glitter ;)

[[It took all of Bakura's will power to not be flattened by the sudden rush.]]

[[It's not something he meant to be overheard, but he couldn't help but think it -- and wonder if that meant any time he was resonating, whomever he was with could tell when he was putting on his false face as well.

[There's a hitch in his wavelength at Bakura's almost unspoken words, and then his resonance completely falls apart. He doesn't want to be privy to those kinds of thoughts if Bakura is having them, and he certainly doesn't want Bakura to see all the mistakes and bad decisions he's trying to cover up, and it's impossible to resonate with someone at such a distance.

He drops Bakura as if the weapon is a hot coal, only just managing to hear his last question.]
