Description: Sheena and Zaki gives a try to go out for a date.

Yamazaki ran out of his apartment with the still turned on communicator in one hand. He wasn't able to think of small things like locking the door or taking up more appealing clothes. Sheena waited for him in the very building he lived. she was here! And she was ready to go out with him! His heart sang a gloomy song of a soldier leaving his homeland en route to the war and death...It did not fit to the occasion but these kind of songs were Yamazaki's favorites. When he arrived at the third floor he stopped at Sheena's door, took a deep breath, and...took another deep breath...he raised up his hand...and tugged his messy hair...and then he knocked the door very quickly and turned away!

Why do you think o much of yourself being a half-elf? Or why did everyone else give a damn about who was a whole-elf or a half-elf or a dwarf or something? You look like a normal people and if you could do that summoning thing...well, couldn't they find a way to use it...usefully? They should've use their brain instead of hating each other and each others children...

[Yamazaki goes all grumpy...and than confused.]

I...i don't really know...my right side?

[She shakes her head.] I'm not a half-elf, only part, but anyone with any elven blood was looked down upon by both humans and elves. Humans because they don't like the idea that their own children can live longer than them, and elves because they felt humans were inferior to begin with.

Dwarfs, though, really weren't looked down on as much as humans, since they had certain skills that could be used.

[She smiles and looks up at him.]

I know some people who would really like your way of thinking, Zaki.

[She places her hand on his cheek and chuckles softly.]

It was a joke, Zaki, but I'll take the right side being half-naked.

And can't summoning be a useful thing? I...i can't tell I fully understand everything you say, but it's totally unkind disliking someone just because they different. If everyone would be exactly the same this world would be a very boring place.

[And he's very glad that Sheena is not exactly the same as some girls he knows.

He gently places his palm on Sheena's hand.]

I like your jokes, especially these flirty ones. For you I'd promise I'd dance wholly naked anywhere you tell me to do it.

Summoning can be very useful--especially for protecting people.

[Her expression is soft as she looks up at him for several seconds before kissing his cheek.]

I agree with you, but it takes a while to change a very old opinion. And some habits take even longer to break, but, hopefully, it'll happen.

[She smiles.]

I'm glad you like them. Although, I, uh, never thought I was very good at flirting. [She just tries to be honest, like now, when she blushes deeply, though smiles.]

Let's save that for when we're alone and the time's right, okay?

[It's a bit upsetting that Sheena lived in a world Yamazaki doesn't know a thing about...

...and being kissed by this girl still makes him blushing.]

[She wraps her arms about him and holds him tight.]

I don't want you to do anything that'll make you uncomfortable. Okay?

Sheena, you never made me feel uncomfortable, never ever...or if you did something, it was not your fault I felt...errr...I would not say it was uncomfortable, it was like we bought that many cakes at Death by Pasty. It was silly but not uncomfortable.

Then, I never want you to feel silly--in a bad way, okay? Silly in a good way is fine, but if I ever make you feel bad in any way, you tell me, all right?

[Zaki waits for a few moments, he's not sure about how should he put in words what he wanted to say.]

I want to be honest to you.

[His choice of words concern her, and she looks up, that emotion evident in her expression.]

Zaki? What is it? What's wrong?

[He gasps and looks at Sheena, his face is serious and a bit sad, but he smiles.]

Could you love two person equally at the same time? One who you'd live with, having kids and spending sweet times together and another one from the distance like...that person was a dream?

[Hadn't they talked about this before? This must really concern him...]

Yes, I think you can, but Zaki, what's going on?

I'm in love with someone else, too, and it doesn't count how much I try to forget about him, I can't. It doesn't mean I don't love you. I do love you, I do want to marry you, I want a family and all the family-related things with you, but I love him.

I...I guess it's better if I turn off this mirror now.

[She thought this sounded familiar.]

I would never ask you to forget him, Zaki. You don't do that to someone you love because every person you meet stays with you in one way or another, and if you forget them, then you lose a part of yourself.

But, if talking about this bothers you, I'll understand if you want to stop.

[Maybe they did talk about this matter, but Zaki wants to make this thing clean.]

Yes, it...it bothers me. Let's not talk about it anymore. I'm very thankful that you love me and accept me and don't drop me. And...you are the only woman I love.

[Is that what's been bothering him? Being accepted? Oh...]

Okay, I won't talk about it, and yes, Zaki, I accept you and love you--all of you and everything you do.

[Being noticed and accepted was the only thing Yamazaki wanted in his life.]

[Well, he doesn't have to worry about that anymore; Sheena's definitely noticed and accepted him without question.]

Zaki! [She blushes and laughs with surprise. She's always been flustered by compliments.]

You don't have to do that!

And you are beautiful, especially when you're blushing. Oops, sorry...I won't do this again...

[Zaki looks at Sheena with an apologizing expression and a moment later he starts to laugh]

I am good at insulting, too!

[She shakes her head and continues to smile even as she blushes harder.]

Now, cut that out! [She's laughing as she says that.] You didn't do anything to apologize for! I'm not insulted.

If you continue being so pretty you'll be harassed, though.

[Yamazaki mutters, and he doesn't look at Sheena.]

[She puts a hand on his arm, and tries to meet his eyes. She's been harassed before.]

I'll be fine, Zaki. I can handle it, so it'll be okay. You have nothing to worry about.

[Zaki had no idea about Sheena was being harassed. When he talked about harassing he thought of himself. No one but he has the right to touch Sheena! He looks worried as he turns to the girl.]

How do you mean you can handle it? How do you know? Were you...? Did someone...? Who...?

[ WHO? ]

[Oh boy... She hadn't meant it like that...]

Zaki, my Grandpa taught me how to fight--and I've put those skills to use in battle. That's how I know I can handle it.

[Not to mention all that practice with smacking Zelos in the head.]

Huh... do you have any idea how much you scared me?

[Zaki doesn't want to sound too reproachful. It's not Sheena's fault that he misunderstood her. But now he's high on adrenaline and wants to hurt someone who caused harm -any kind of harm- to Sheena.]
