Description: Karkat is moving. Gai wants to cheer up his perpetually grumpy friend. Anyone can have seen Gai's post on the network and drop by.



It didn't take many stealth skills at all to plan this party. The filters on the devices made things very easy, and with the labor as greatly divided as it was Gai didn't even have to haul a whole bunch of stuff to where Karkat would be moving in.

Picking the lock was the work of moments and then Gai was in the apartment, starting to set up. Soon others would join him to help prepare, and hopefully Karkat would be slow enough in returning that he would only come when everything was ready. Gai would hope, at least.

I wouldn't know, I've never been to one outside of the ones with you and Dave and John! [ Especially the ones with Dave. He comes over almost every day oops. ] You mean, one of those spirit finding things?

[yeah yeah she's wonderful STOP WITH THE PUBLIC FRIENDSHIP THING] We could certainly make a valiant attempt at it. I'm not sure I'd be much help in the realm of pet training; cats weren't exactly prone to being tutored in useful tricks.

Positive reinforcement is very useful in teaching animals of all species, yes. I'm sure it shouldn't be too much of a task to accomplish.

I hope not! He's a pretty smart puppy, and I figured I would start really slowly since he's still pretty little. And learning how to go on walks, too.

I think that the gradual approach is best when their attention span hasn't fully matured. There's certainly enough time in the future to teach him to open doorknobs and make emergency phone calls.

I am pretty sure that he will never be able to open the door! But he might be able to run messages and stuff.

Seeing Eye dogs have been trained to undo latches for their masters in the past, I don't see why we couldn't have a go at it ourselves. Courier work sounds like a profitable endeavor, though.
