The oh-so-OPEN housewarming party assault log

Characters: Karkat, Gai, and anyone and everyone who drops by!
Location: Karkat's new 'hivething.'
Rating: PG?
Time: Afternoon
Description: Karkat is moving. Gai wants to cheer up his perpetually grumpy friend. Anyone can have seen Gai's post on the network and drop by.

It didn't take many stealth skills at all to plan this party. The filters on the devices made things very easy, and with the labor as greatly divided as it was Gai didn't even have to haul a whole bunch of stuff to where Karkat would be moving in.

Picking the lock was the work of moments and then Gai was in the apartment, starting to set up. Soon others would join him to help prepare, and hopefully Karkat would be slow enough in returning that he would only come when everything was ready. Gai would hope, at least.

Positive reinforcement is very useful in teaching animals of all species, yes. I'm sure it shouldn't be too much of a task to accomplish.

aldkjflsfj that icon. "Sit, John. Stay."

I hope not! He's a pretty smart puppy, and I figured I would start really slowly since he's still pretty little. And learning how to go on walks, too.
thorny: (彡 no matter how many nights)

that is basically exactly what she's implying. "Heel, John. Good boy."

I think that the gradual approach is best when their attention span hasn't fully matured. There's certainly enough time in the future to teach him to open doorknobs and make emergency phone calls.

jade does the same thing to dave oops "dave, go fetch!"

I am pretty sure that he will never be able to open the door! But he might be able to run messages and stuff.
thorny: (彡 hurricane's chasing us underground)

they should take their men for a run at the dog park. "Bad John! No pranking in the house."

Seeing Eye dogs have been trained to undo latches for their masters in the past, I don't see why we couldn't have a go at it ourselves. Courier work sounds like a profitable endeavor, though.

"No, Dave! You can't ironically bite any of the walkers!"

We should try! Coulomb will be the best dog ever, and so smart.

He will truly be the envy of the pet-owning community in Death City. I can't imagine any other canine being so well-educated.

aldsfjkldfj oh god

Everyone will be totally jealous of my awesome dog!
thorny: (彡 like a gem on a coalface)

He does not like the Muzzle of Shame.

Without a doubt. We'll have to be careful that no one injures themselves in the mad dash to fawn over him.

poor John, so abused

He is a rather pretty puppy!
thorny: (彡 I am your thought)

He likes it.
