The life of a Ghost [OPEN]
Characters: Sarah Kerrigan (
ghostofaqueen) & OPEN
Location: In and Around the DOGS office
Rating: PG
Time: January 19th
Description: Sarah doesn't appear often in the public areas around the office, but she's scoping out possible entry points and in the mood to be bothered... or bother people walking by.
Cross posted to Livejournal as well.
While she had always been assured of the state of security around the building, there were times when a military woman just had to look herself. It satisfied her that no one had made an attack on Death City in a long while and that meant that the building that the Watch was situated in was technically very secure. It would be even more secure when Tassadar had put on the finishing touches on the generator as well.
Still, she observed the windows and ledges from the ground before doing the same analysis from the roof of the building and then from the buildings surrounding the Watch. Of course, it was always interesting to watch people come and go from the doors and moving around like this was some kind of communal gathering area.
Using her fingers, she could easily line up some of the people and just... take that shot. It would be a simple shot, but of course, she wasn't allowed to carry a sniper rifle within the city confines. For some reason, people got nervous when a trained sniper wandered around on rooftops with a loaded weapon. She couldn't understand why, she thought with a snort.
Of course, sweeping the outside of the building almost meant that she was required to sweep inside as well. She had no qualms about walking into closed office doors and then out again when she was satisfied. She had even less qualms about prowling the halls looking for suspicious characters. Oh she wanted one so badly, but Roy had a problem with blood on the floor, so she'd have to drag them outside if she wanted to interrogate.

"I will break you over my knee and throw you out a window," she threatened through gritted teeth.

Whether Vash was the sort of person who liked to run in front of bulls in that red coat of his, or if he was a true idiot, well. That remained to be seen.

She would have to ask Roy about this one. Was it personal torture that she remained watching him or just curiosity to see if it could get any worse?
no subject
"Are you sure about that? Or are you going to turn around and say you don't want to find some dart guns and find out?"
no subject
"There's nothing to 'find out', since I already know where I'd been putting my darts." Though, he was probably very good at dodging, persistent little flea.

"I might like to see that, if you really can pull it off!" Vash teased, not that he had any idea what Sarah possibly could be thinking.
"So tomorrow, meet back here and you can own up to your words?"
no subject
"Don't test me, Red Ranger," she replied testily. "I can still break you over my knee right here and now." She really was pleased that she had practiced to menacing look in her spare time.
"I'm usually around, but don't get your hopes up."
