EVENT: And Then the Rain Falls
Characters: Anyone heading to Costa Rica
Location: San Jose, Costa Rica

Time: September 2nd, all day
Description: The day of the attack arrives...and things are not as they seem.
The attack begins as the sun rises...because the person planning this did love dramatic timing.
Before this, Shibusen had given out information about the Clown's weaknesses and powers, but as the attack begins, it's clear that something isn't quite right.
Red Clowns that should have been nearsighted can suddenly see very well, and the Yellow and Purple Clowns are much stronger than Shibusen's original report. And more than one individual has approached an ally only to be attacked.
And in the midst of all this, there is a figure, more human than the others, in a dress that's half purple and half red...
This is clearly not going to be an easy battle, but all you can do now is fight.
((OOC: Please put, [Character || OPEN/CLOSED] in your subject header! Assume there are local NPCs wandering all over the place. There will also be a separate thread for the event NPC if you want to tag them!))

naruto watches his hand go up like it's happening to someone else and the whole of his body feels like it's vibrating, waiting for something. in the end, he hadn't needed to know what sasuke had planned to do. he trusted him.
when his vision blots back in, his senses feel like they're in overdrive- a thousand different experiences trying to clutter up his brain all at once. sasuke slips from his hold, half sprawled in a heap at his feet (the exhaustion comes off of him in waves) and sakura is wrapping herself around his opposite arm (urgency and resolve) and her words shake him back to his senses.
they're still in the middle of a fight, and while kirin had swept away more than half of their enemies- they still couldn't afford to be reckless. ]
He thinks he's the only one who can show off'ttebayo.

they have to protect sasuke. ]
