EVENT: Witch Attack on the City!

Description: There's a Witch attack on the city and, to make matters worse, there's a dangerous individuals while Meister powers go completely out of control



The evening before there had been a PSA going around the network and the radio to watch out for an individual causing trouble in the city and a reminder to please stay indoors if possible.

Then around midnight something distinctly...strange happens. At first, Weapons probably won't notice, because it's only Meisters who suddenly find their powers flaring up for no apparent reason even when they're not trying to use them.

There's a two hour window where the abilities become stronger until it's practically impossible to control before the alarms in the city sound.

Kishin Eggs have been spotted entering the city in droves and this time they haven't come alone...

That explained a lot. Psii tried to fight effects, but as soon as Amaterasu stopped using Soul Menace, apathy returned.

But energy Psii had readied didn't diminish, and he was still able to send it out to her.

Effect of calming wavelength was switched off for minute there...

"... Of course. Soul Menace is another Meister ability."

So the two couldn't be working at the same time. But, it wasn't like she could just have Soul Menace on all the time. It wasn't her normal ability.

The next few eggs fell until the blasts she sent their way, the power overwhelming.

Oh. That makes sense.

[Tries, again, to make self feel anything more than mild curiosity about battle. No luck.]

"I'll need another energy blast... but allow me to clear your head."

The next moose was leapt over, her four paws landing on its head as it tossed, sending them flying. Her legs splayed, she landed on the roof and raced forward. Up here, she had a better idea of what was happening. Destruction everywhere as usual and people stopped running as soon as she strayed close.

Eyes locking onto a rather large egg, she sprung down from the roof and seized it in her fangs, twisting around and slamming it into the ground. While stunned, she shifted abilities and pierced it with another Soul Menace. She wouldn't be able to keep that up, but anything to help Psii.

When Psii's awareness came back, anger did, too, roaring back into thinkpan. How dare they use Amaterasu's ability against her. Forced him to think certain way, to feel certain way. Hundreds of sweeps of that had been more than enough.

Anger lent strength to powers, and blast he sent to her this time was strongest yet.

Give them hell for both of... us.

Last word was almost defiant.

Amaterasu was a massive ball of righteous anger too, syncing up well to Psii when his mind was clear.

"Oh, I will..."

Her paws beat the ground as she charged, blue and red energies sparking around her eyes as she headed into the thick. She would certainly make them pay for all of this.

Felt strange to cling to anger, when usually spent so much time trying to deny it. But it helped his focus now, and Psii used it to give blast extra force, even as felt resolve fading away.

They just had to get the Witches out of here and handle the out of control guest. Yes, simple as that. Then why did it seem never ending? She just had to work harder.

Mood was returning to entirely too even keel, calm overwriting the righteous anger.
