Rating: PG-13 for violence of the training sort
Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on August 5th.
Extra note: The clowns have not yet attacked, but the hummingbird keychains have glowing eyes!

I turn into an RX-93 Nu [Sounds like 'new'] Custom Beam Rifle.

[Mondo looks a little lost until the 'beam rifle' part. That much made sense to him.]

Never really been one for guns. [Any weaponry he got much use of back home were things you'd easily find in a street fight, so melee sorts of things.] Guess it couldn't hurt to give it a shot, though.

Hn. That's more reason why you should try. You don't always get to choose who you end up working with during an attack so knowing how to use as many different kinds of weapons as you can will be helpful.

[And he's already glowing by that last sentence and, after a brief flash, there's a black and white rifle about arm's length long lying where Giroro was standing.]

[Crouching down, Mondo takes a short moment to look the rifle over before picking it up. It takes him a moment to figure out how to comfortably get a hold of it, but once he does, he sends his wavelength out to try and get a connection with Giroro.]

You know how to use this thing, right? 'Cause I'll probably need some pointers.

This isn't a complicated model, fortunately, and the bullets being soul wavelength means you don't have to worry about it overheating.

Make sure when you pull the trigger that you do it gently. If you yank it will negatively affect your accuracy. The small piece that juts out on top at the front is called the sight, use it to aim.

If you have trouble using it, I know how to adjust your aim so that's not a problem as long as you have me pointed in the general direction of your target.

We could go try at the shooting range if you want.

[Again, color him lost on a couple of the more technical aspects of the rifle (why would it overheat? Is that something guns do? It's a mystery to Mondo.) but he gathers that it should be fine even if he isn't exactly adept at using it. Giroro's explanation makes it all seem pretty simple, honestly.]

[Giroro's soul, as usual, wasn't going to make first contact, but he accepts the attempt to form a connection easily. It was the way he nromally rolled in everyday life as well.

His own wavelength was calm and unwavering (and probably more willing to accomadate than he'd ever admit out-loud.)]

[Mondo's soul, meanwhile, is a very forceful presence, prominent and imposing, though acting much like a controlled flame at the moment. Should he be under much stress, it would likely feel more wild, but for the time being, it's about as subdued as he can get. As much as it can be after being approached by an alien, anyway.]

Mondo Oowada [He replies. But, after receiving a rank from the Weapon like that, his own introduction feels a little incomplete, and he adds,] Super High School Level Motorcycle Gang Leader.

With them resonating like this, it wasn't hard to pick up on the fact that Giroro was impressed by the title (why Giroro).]
