Rating: PG-13 for violence of the training sort
Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on August 5th.
Extra note: The clowns have not yet attacked, but the hummingbird keychains have glowing eyes!

O-of course. [He clears his throat and gives Lassie lots of pats in an effort to return to normalcy, because really, he is actually interested in the topic. Both of them, really, but we're only talking about one from now on.]

So, um, what do you think about partnerships? I mean, would you get jealous if you had to share a meister with another weapon?

R-right. [Now she's just avoiding looking him in the eye. THIS IS SO AWKWARD. Lassie sort of notices it in a way but she's not too concerned as long as she's getting lots of pats.

Meanwhile. Aqua will be clinging to this rest of the conversation like it's a lifeline.]

Um. I don't think so. I've never tried though so I'm not sure how well I'd be able to do it...but I think I'd be willing to try.

Kid has two weapons, but Liz and Patty are sisters so I guess they're used to sharing things....

[A vague sound of agreement and, you know what? Aqua is sure she can do this. Actually looking up, she means. The whole three-way partnership thing remains to be seen. So yeah, looking up and hoping to get that blush under control.]

Well, we won't know until we try, right? [Then more lightly.] I'm not really the jealous type at any rate.

[He risks a glance towards her, but finally the awkward atmosphere is slowly starting to dissipate. Unfortunately for Lassie, it means he'll be concentrating on Aqua more than the collie.]

Then you want to try it? I've been training a lot with Shinji now that... now that he's my roommate. [Really it's now that Sugata is gone and even Yuugi is gone, but that's a depressing way of looking at things.] So if you want to try dual resonance with me, it'll probably be with Shinji, too.

So he loses all the points he earned which brings him back to zero! XD

[He sighs.] And yours, too. But we both know we can't sit around and wait for people to return to us.

[Well, her friends from back home had technically never been here, but the sentiment was appreciated.]

[Obviously he's assuming she's made other friends while she's been here. It's Aqua--of course she's made other friends.]

I don't think I've ever been very good at waiting, though. [He blinks at her with a small smile.] So, do you want to practice resonance today?

[She chuckles.]

You don't seem like you'd be, no.

[Because, she's sure if he could, Takuto would rather fight his way back to the people he loved instead of just waiting.

She held out her hand to him.]

I'd like that.

[He takes her hand with a smile, his wavelength flashing across the connection like a bolt of dazzling electricity. She's right, of course, that he'd much rather fight than wait.]
