Rating: PG-13 for violence of the training sort
Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on August 5th.
Extra note: The clowns have not yet attacked, but the hummingbird keychains have glowing eyes!

Wouldn't say was really living when was ship. Missing piece was having own agency. In anything. [He frowns thoughtfully.] It was less unbearable once carved some agency out for self, actually.

Well, then surely you'd see my point. That ship is too much of an extreme case to use as an example, but in the end all of life is like a milder version of it. Usually you can't even change anything since everything is already set in stone.

[ As much as Masako constantly does try to change things. But then again, she hasn't exactly been succesful just yet either. ]

But if you think outcome is already determined, then by definition, even attempts to change it cannot affect end result. Might as well do nothing. Think would be very hopeless way to live.

That's not it. Even our actions are already predestined. [ So even when you think you're fighting to change something, then that's exactly what's meant to be.

But even so, they can't help but fight all the same, right? If you choose to sit back, then that's predestined too, but Masako is not the type to do that - that much is what he's right about. ]

So.. all we can do is continue on living.

Don't understand how you can say ability to make own decisions is what matters, but also believe decisions don't change anything. With parameters you've set forth, nothing you choose is really own choice.

Maybe would just like to cling to idea that own actions made difference.
