Rating: PG-13 for violence of the training sort
Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on August 5th.
Extra note: The clowns have not yet attacked, but the hummingbird keychains have glowing eyes!

[Meanwhile, there will be Miki walking on by who couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as he passed by. At first, he was going to passed by but the idea was a little too odd in his mind.

Exactly what is the Hug Brigade again..?]

[Seeing someone pass but then stop and look directly in his direction, Lee beamed right back with his brilliant smile and waved.]

Hello, good sir! May I interest you in a hug today?

Oh, is that what it was for?

[Not sure if gusta...?] Mind if I ask what might why there is one?

Ah, yes! Of course you may ask!

[Lee clears his throat, then takes a deep breath.]

In times of war there are surely going to be casualties and cruelties that are foisted upon those who are both soldiers and those who are civilians. Not everyone can handle that kind of trauma well. And for those of us who are guests here, it can also be troubling to miss our friends and families and homelands. So! The Hug Brigade is here to provide a comforting shoulder to cling to and a warm smile for weary souls.

[He's very serious about it all, really.]

[As Miki listened, he...wasn't too sure how to take this. It was true that he did miss his friends despite being here for a few days but the idea of hugging a random person wasn't exactly...the best idea in his mind.

Cue the awkward!]

That sounds like quite a noble idea! I'm sure that there will be plenty of people who would really like that, the more hugs the better for everyone here!

[And yet...]

[Lee doesn't catch on to the awkward at all. He's just happy there seems to be a newer person taking interest in the brigade.]

So you understand! That is excellent!

[Lee grinned all the more and moved a bit closer.]

Allow me to introduce myself! I am Rock Lee, the current head of the Hug Brigade, as well as one of the coordinators of Morning Training and Weapon of Hyuuga Neji, the Leader of the Watch.

[Meanwhile, Miki will be on the unsure train! And perhaps taking a take back away from him.

How does he deal with extroverted people?]

My name is Miki Kaoru, it's nice to meet you, Lee-san! It seems like I picked the right person to talk to with how involved you are with Death City and the people here!

[Lee can be a bit overbearing. But when Miki steps back Lee takes one step forward. It's awkward if he's too far away, because then it looks like he's just talking to empty air.]

Certainly! If you have any questions about things, do not hesitate to ask! Ah, but my partner is in charge of answering questions about training and such, too, so you can ask him if you wish as well. He is easy to spot.

[Lee taps his forehead.] He will have a leaf symbol on his forehead protector, and he has very long, dark hair.... And white eyes!

[That trait is almost difficult for Lee to remember. After all, Neji is someone he sees every day and has served with for years.]

[Yup, Miki wasn't too sure what to do here. He was starting to wonder if he was being a bit rude. Then again, Lee didn't seem to
quite mind though!]

I won't! I'm just a little nervous about everything since I'm just so new. However, I don't think it should be a problem later on when I get use to things!

[And with that, he just raised an eyebrow]

Well then, I don't think it should be too difficult! I think someone with white eyes will be easy to find!

Yes, this place does take getting used to. I hope you will settle in soon, Miki-san.

He does have a distinctive look to himself. I am certain you will not have troubles finding him. Neji is also holds an air of authority about him. [And Lee nods, feeling confident.]

I really hope so. I'm not quite use to a place filled with war but...I think I'll manage.

[And besides, he wasn't really into the idea of having to use other people for fighting in a manner like this. Either way, he couldn't help but smile at him]

If I might be blunt, it seems like you're really proud of your partner. I wonder is that what happens when you have a partner?

Not everyone is used to war times, so do not feel you are alone in having troubles acclimating yourself.

[It was sad, sometimes, to see such innocent people lose that here, but... such was life for a shinobi. Lee could only try to offer some sympathy as he couldn't rightly empathize, being a trained assassin and all.]

I am very proud of having a partner! He is actually a good friend of mine from home. [Ah, but Miki wanted more details about partnership, so Lee cleared his throat and began.]

Being partners means you are a fairly comfortable pair that can resonate well together. Resonance is something that happens when the soul of a Meister and a Weapon meet. Sometimes resonance is strong and sometimes it is weak; you never really know what you will find until you attempt to resonate.

Now, if you happen to not have good resonance, a Meister will find that the Weapon feels too heavy to move or slows them down. They cannot be a fully functional working pair. However, if resonance is good, then they can together unlock abilities that make them more formidable in the war. If one achieves perfect resonance with their partner, they also may find they have more abilities still that they could not access before!

[The most that Miki could ever do was sword fighting but that was it. Sword fighting for the Rose Bride but even then, it was for competition. It wasn't a war and he was just fighting because he thought he could change the world. Of course, that wasn't really the case...]

Oh, I see! That must be really lucky for you and especially to have someone else from home!

[Not that he wanted to see Nanami here but..]

So, sometimes, you have to wonder how well you work against one another based on this resonance? How do you know if you just work well against a weapon or if it doesn't? [Pause] Or do you just have to guess and hope for the best?

[Not very promising but then again, working against a weapon that you don't know how to use was probably the same. It the same when it came to working with people turning into weapons.]
