Rating: PG-13 for violence of the training sort
Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on August 5th.
Extra note: The clowns have not yet attacked, but the hummingbird keychains have glowing eyes!

First Aid Class

Be kind to your patients! Being too rough isn't helping them.

[Practicing with fake blood and bandages is the way to go! A situation outside of an emergency helps, and she's really grateful for the people who volunteered today.]

That's too tight. That can absorb more blood. That's right! You're getting it!

[A bright smile on her face, she hadn't even noticed her hummingbirds are glowing purple and red.]

[Lee had joined once again to help with the demonstration. He doesn't need to fake a lot of the injuries, to be honest, as his body is already riddled with scars and bruising. All that's really needed is a little fake blood from make-up and he's ready to be practiced upon.

Lee actually took a moment out of his time to change into a pair of kahki pants for this as well, leaving his chest exposed. It was just difficult wearing his full spandex suit during something like this; it would bunch up weirdly.]

I am ready to help, Rosalia-san.

[Still beaming, Rosalia turned to Lee and paused. Well, he never wore anything besides his green spandex; the kahkis were just new. Blinking, she glanced around.]

Hm... Oh! It looks like those two over there could use a 'patient'.

Certainly, Rosalia-san!

[Lee hurried on over, not afraid to be prodded and practiced on if it meant the students would better understand how to bandage someone after this.

After a short moment, however, the two did start to debate whether to use a mesh or just wrap one particularly bloody area with just bandages. It was in a tricky spot, on the inside of Lee's elbow, so he was not particularly sure himself on the matter. After all, his method of bandaging was almost exclusively just patch-and-go. He left the real deal stuff to the medics when he got back from whatever mission or battle he was in.]

Rosalia-san, I believe we have a question!

[Hearing her name, Rosalia came over in a short hop and skip.]

Yes? What's the question?

[The two explain the dilemma with the 'injury' on the elbow and unsure about whether they should bandage it or use a mesh. Rosalia nodded]

That is a good question. I guess I should have covered meshes a little more. Anyway, for this one, we'll want to use the bandage.

[Lee allowed the students to handle answering. One of them seemed a little shy of talking, so perhaps it was good that Lee had called Rosalia over himself.

Once they had their answer they worked to make sure the bandage was on well, giving him also some room so he could still bend his arm should he need to.]

How does it look, Rosalia-san?

[Rosalia watched them work, rolling on the ball of her feet and then back, smiling. When Lee let her inspect it on his arm, even bending it for her, she nodded.]

That's good! Do you think you can do his shoulder?

[Lee turned to give them better access to the new point of interest. While he thought they were a bit clumsy, they seemed to be getting it fine enough. Definitely good enough for a cursory bandaging while on the field.]

How does it look, Rosalia-san?

[The technique could use some work, but they definitely managed to get a good bandage on. She smiled at Lee and then smiled at the two practicing.]

Excellent! [Lee thought the praise was deserved. They also looked pretty proud of themselves for their work before moving on.]

This was an excellent idea, Rosalia-san. Demonstrations are very good, but allowing the students to try on their own really adds something, I think.

[A round of smiles and excited chatter for all. There they go to work some more.]

[Lee smiles, waving at the students before moving to stand closer to Rosalia.]

Your father must have been a very intelligent man. You are definitely the perfect person to lead our medic area here, Lily-san.

Hehe, it does!

[She beams up at him, but it becomes a little sad]

He was and I really miss him. [She nods to him] Thanks, Lee. I couldn't do it without your help though.

[Lee's smile remains encouraging, even if it perhaps morphs a little to add some sympathy.]

You have his lessons in your heart, so he is never really gone even when you are worlds away in this place here, yes?

Rosalia-san, you are very welcome. I enjoy helping you with your lessons, and I believe they are quite important so I want to encourage you as best as I can.

Yeah... [Though, there's more than worlds apart now.]
